Last night, Al Gore preached to the choir. The polar ice caps are melting at an alarming rate, droughts are dragging on, floods are getting stronger and today alone, an additional 170 million tons of carbon dioxide has been dumped into the Earth's atmosphere, he told a crowd of believers at Value City Arena.
"The planet has a fever," he said. It needs to be saved, to be fixed immediately.
"This is our home. We don't have another planet to go to. Don't let anybody tell you we're going to get on rocket ships and go to a new planet. We couldn't even evacuate New Orleans."

Meanwhile, Al Gore's Climate Solutions Fund has closed with $683 million to invest in early-stage green companies. For a guy who ran as a socialist he's quite the capitalist.

Yeah — guick — before the public catches on that there is no scientific consensus regarding global warming, that the debate ain’t over, and that the global warming models are collapsing faster than Obama’s reputation.

For a guy who ran as a socialist he's quite the capitalist. Real capitalists provide value in exchange for the money they receive. Gore ain't no capitalist, just a con man. Hope he loses his shirt.

Better yet...
Quick, so that when disaster doesn’t strike, I can take credit for acting so quickly and averting the disaster that was never going to happen in the first place.

We couldn't even evacuate New Orleans." Another lie from the Goracle.
Was there anyone in NOLA who wanted out and who didn't get out?
Over the age of 12, I mean.

If Bernie Goldberg reprinted his book- "100 people that are screwing up America", I wonder if Algore would move up the list:
18. Al Gore (Vice-president 1992-2000) Al Gore is as unprincipled and pandering a Democrat politician as any. He spoke passionately about how his sister died from smoking, but a few years before that he was throwing praise on tobacco. Also, when asked if it would be okay to execute a pregnant woman, he didn't give a straight answer, showing how he tries too hard to appease his pro-abortion constituency. He is now a loud and scary Bush-hater.

Don't let anybody tell you we're going to get on rocket ships and go to a new planet. Okey-dokey, Al, thanks for the tip!
He said this, by way of introduction: "I am Al Gore. I used to be the next president of the United States of America."
It's 2008, for heaven's sake. Is this one still getting laughs?

"We couldn't even evacuate New Orleans"
STFU, Albore! "We" were not responsible for evacuating NOLA. The large majority of residents there displayed the minimum level of common sense and judgment to evacuate themselves!! The rest, mired in the swamps of welfarist ignorance, laziness, and depravity, sat still helplessly and waited for Big Brother to come help them. The story of Katrina still is not properly told, as one of widespread sensible individual iniatives that saved most from harm, coupled with a sizable minority that acted precisely as bloated welfare state Demagogues are supposed to act, i.e., as reckless and useless parasites.
