The point is that the KLA were a nationalist force, not an Islamist force of Mujahideens, seeking to implement the rule of Islam. They fought for Albanian rule.
Okay. But you're assuming that 'everyone' knows what your implying when say nationalist force - someone like dennisW doesn't, for example. Note: I read your post on another thread.
Look, Dio, let provide a quick (anecdotal) and simple example of what I'm trying to say.
Suppose, you suggest to "Joe" in America the following:
Hey Joe, did you know that the KLA is a nationalist force?
Joe's response most likely be something along the lines of:
"Well, I don't know what the KLA is, but I don't see what's wrong because they are proud of themselves and their country."
On the other hand, if you were to ask "Joe" in Romania the same question a typical response would be as follows:
"Well, I don't know what the KLA is, but my gosh, they're Nationalists - who are they going to kill today?
I realize this is basic, but it provides an explanation of the different perceptions.
