I'm an avid life long hunter. I actually prefer archery tackle. The PETA freaks would turn back flips if they could see my antler collection and bear skin rugs. Of course I would pull the “bear rug” out from under them while they were mid flip.

I'm a vegetarian who is doing it partially because of dietary reasons and also because I'm morally opposed to factory farming because it doesn't respect the animals' lives. However, one thing I've always learned is never try to force my beliefs on somebody else and never be absurd in my beliefs. As for hunting, I personally think anybody who eats meat should probably hunt so we don't have a disconnect of what we eat. I also believe that hunting is probably one of the best things a person can do because A. The animals you are hunting are probably numerous and their natural predators are either nearly extinct (In the case of deer) or simply don't exist (Like bears) and there needs to be some population control. B. People who eat animal flesh and wear their furs or leather would have a disconnect. BTW, it's probably pleather. I have some pleather boots and a pleather jacket made out out of plastic. They're very warm too.
