Mika is ONLY good for ONE thing!
Mika so PC she won’t judge Pfleger ping to Today show list.
20 years in the scummy pond of Chicago’s South Side politics has malformed the Democrats’ prize catch - Barack Obama.
He’s contaminated. They should throw him back.
That ‘pastor’ is an embarrassment to the Catholic Church at the very least and an abomination to people of faith everywhere!!
I tried to find Archbishop Francis George’s email without success this morning. I want to register my *concern* about the very non-Christian antics of Father Michael L. Pfleger. No Catholic, let alone a Catholic priest, should be supporting an adamantly PRO-abort candidate such as Senator Obama.

I have the feeling that sales are up among Democrats for antacids and sedatives.
His apology is phony and now Obama's campaign can come out this weekend and say: "He said he was sorry. Game over!"
Like I said this whole thing is hilarious. If his rant ended with a voice over saying "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night Live." we'd all be laughing instead of displaying righteous indignation.
Another reason why churches need to stay the hell out of politics, be it from the left or the right.
If Cardinal George does not have the will to put this priest in line, why can’t Rome put him in line? I mean they can issue a decree of excommunication as it relates to ordaining women priests but stays silent many important matters, why??????/Just Asking - seoul62........
A few years ago this priest was told by his Bishop that he was being reassigned from his then- and now-current parish to another one. Mind you, this was presented by the Diocese of Chicago as a routine matter. Priests are reassigned every so often, they keep them moving around. But this priest’s parish is a black parish, and he has spent a lot of time being an advocate for them.
This priest raised a huge stink and encouraged his parish to do the same. He implied that doing this would strike a blow against his parish, and that racism might be involved. It was front-page stuff, complete with a picture taken of him in his church - a close-up of his head from a low angle in such a fashion that the crucifix appeared over his right shoulder. I thought it in poor taste. I thought that he showed a lack of recognition of authority, an authority he after all swore to obey in his ordination.
Later on he got involved in a controversy. A school in his parish joined an interscholastic athletic conference whose other members were suburban. The suburbanites asked the school to put on extra security during home games at that school. Seems that there had been some trouble in the area, including a murder about a mile away. Well, this priest accused them of racism and just took off on them. He apparently wound it up by referring to one young girl saying “How can I tell her she lives in a bad neighborhood?” and bursting into tears.
My reaction was, “You don’t have to tell her. She already knows.” Now, I can see that there might be a cause for miscommunication here. In the city, where you can get your paper on the corner and milk and bread and convenience items a block or so away and where your kids may walk 4 blocks to school, a mile or mile and a half is another neighborhood and another world. In the suburbs, where you have to drive a mile to pick up the paper and your kid goes to a school 2 or 4 miles away, something that happens within a mile of your house is in your neighborhood. If a murder happened within a mile of the school they’d close it at least for the day, and some parents would keep their kids home for a while. So I can see where city and suburban residents would have differing perspectives on this.
This priest then wanted to insist that if the city school had to put on extra security during games, so should the suburban schools. The surburanites thought that made no sense, since they had no security problems and didn’t anticipate any. But this priest held that equality and making the city kids feel better demanded it. I don’t know where it was left, but this guy seems like a fool to me.
What do they put in the water coolers at the Rock in NYC? Remind me the next time I'm in NYC not to stop by the Rock for a drink of water.
A tacit admission by a liberal that the Black church is exempt from all anti-chr*stian criticism aimed at white churches because of their “otherness.” In other words, it’s okay for Black chr*stians to interpret the Bible literally. Six day creationism? How exotic!
I propose that NBC just needs to make it official and rename themselves OBC.
As for “Father” Phlegm. The parishioners of the Chicago Archdiocese need to write Cardinal George (and perhaps even the Vatican) to get this clown out of the Church.
If you criticize the white man, it just shows you’re trying to keep the black man down.
Mike is one dumbass broad. Knowing that talent surely didn’t get her the job, one must wonder what did.
