Seat all delegates, Clinton lawyer urges

A day before the Democratic National Committee's Rules and Bylaws Committee is set to determine how to seat the delegations of Florida and Michigan, the Clinton campaign's chief lawyer said the committee is compelled to seat both delegations fully and not award Sen. Barack Obama any delegates from Michigan.
In a letter addressed to the co-chairs of the committee, Clinton lawyer Lyn Utrecht said both states have already been sufficiently punished because of lack of campaign activity.
Florida Democrats voted 50 percent for Clinton and 33 percent for Obama.
"It is a bedrock principle of our Party that every vote must be counted, and thereby every elected delegate should be seated," Utrecht wrote.
"The States have already been punished because no campaign activity was conducted in Florida or Michigan. There is no requirement or need to punish their duly elected delegates who represent the 2.3 million voters in Michigan and Florida who participated in the nominating process."
Utrecht also made clear that the campaign will not accept a resolution in Michigan that awards Obama any delegates, because the Illinois senator took his name off the ballot there.

I think Hillary has dimpled chads. Some penicillin should clear that up in no time. Who says she is smarter than Al Gore?

We want those states counted, unless the delegates go for Obama? What kind of idiot won’t be able to see through this? If I were on the committee I’d see this argument as personally insulting.

lawyer Lyn Utrecht said both states have already been sufficiently punished because of lack of campaign activity. They mean the Democrats dodged a bullet by not having to face the voters and explain why Michigan's economy is in the dumps under former rising star Jennifer Granholm's stewardship.
Remember, it was McCain who told Michigan Republican voters that the jobs weren't coming back. The Democrats didn't have to face the voters, and now they want the rewards anyway.

In Michigan, Clinton got 55 percent of the vote, and 40 percent of Democrats voted for an uncommitted slate. "Some would take the position that perhaps they were, their intention was to vote for Sen. Obama ... some would take the position that you can't know what the intentions of those voters were," DNC Communications Director Karen Finney said Thursday.Discerning the intent of the voters. Where have I heard this before? Lemme see........Man, the irony just drips out of this article. Can it really be this good?

Unbelievable. How do these people even look in the mirror each day?

"It is a bedrock principle of our Party that every vote must be counted, and thereby every elected delegate should be seated," Utrecht wrote. It is a bedrock principle of the Clinton RICO Machine that the Democrat Party rules (or any law) never apply to the Clintons if it is in the best interest of the Clintons, because it is always about the narcissistic Clintons.

Look how boldly the Clintons’ flaunt their deviousness. Is it any wonder any of us suspect them of worse deeds done in the dark?

If she’d starting fighting this battle when the DNC made its decision, long before the primary vote, I’d have to respect her principles. As it is, all I can do is laugh.
