yet exposed deep racial divisions within the party [Democrats]

Talk about an understated fact... Democrats are vile.

"The 46-year-old first term senator will face Sen. John McCain of Arizona in the fall campaign to become the 44th president."

Sounds like the AP already crowned Obama as President?

more than a dozen private commitments

Meaningless. The donk superpimps can vote whichever way the wind blows right up to convention time.

The problem is that the Super Delegates don’t count until they actually vote. This isn’t over. The AP saying it is doesn’t make it over.

The AP tally was based on public commitments from delegates as well as more than a dozen private commitments.

Private commitments aren't commitments at all in the political world, and not a whole lot more can be said for public ones.

Now, I'm not saying it's at all likely that Hillary will pull it off, but it's a bit premature to say that Obama has "clinched" anything.

AP is whistling past the graveyard. The Super D’s can change votes right up until the floor vote in Denver.

This is not over yet. Expected Clinton victories today in South Dakota and Montana will further bolster the argument that Obama has not fared well since Rev. Wright.

And the Witch has a looooooonnnggg memory.

This is a little premature. Hillary does not ever quit. Nothing is certain until they vote on the floor.

Barack Obama effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, based on an Associated Press tally of convention delegates, becoming the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House.

Well since their bogus story about Hillary conceding did not happen, the AP will concede for Hillary.

I don’t believe AP. MSM has been predicting an obamaesque win for months now. Here’s wishing that the hildebeast pulls an extraordinary white rabbit out of the hat. What a joke on MSM and all the others that predicted her downfall. Hang in there, girl!

This is all unofficial, of course.

It ain’t over until Herself, still the Cold and Joyless, SAYS it’s over.

And she has the names of every one of the superdelegates on autodial. They will be hammered unmercifully from now until the first vote in Denver in August.

I wonder, is this as much a fact as the AP’s earlier reporting that Hillary was calling it quits? Yeah, I believe every word from these people. Can you say ‘In the tank for Obama?’

Hillary is plotting an Arkancide on Obama as we speak and trying to find a way to blame it on the Republicans to clinch her win of the White House.

As much as I dislike the Clintons, I cannot help but get infuriated by the MSM. Basically they are shouting, “don’t vote today people — it’s OVER!”

Good Grief.

Private commitments don't mean squat when you're facing the Clinton machine.

She and her angry husband won't give up until Obama takes the oath of office.
