But if by the fall of 2008 the Iraq War is won, or is making clear and conspicuous progress toward a good outcome, the Democrats' dogmas will have been gutted, disemboweled, flayed, and decapitated, by success and events, and a credible Republican candidate will be elected the next President. Nothing succeeds like success, and nothing loses like a failed prediction of failure.

I have always felt this way. I remember back in the late 60’s and 70’s, those anti-war people were not anti-war, they were simply for the enemy. They wanted the Communists to win.

Of course it is treason, but treason is fun, just the thing, everybody is doing it these days. Of course they will pull the plug and therefore Iraq will be lost and abandoned to chaos and death and Iranian power grabs. They know it, they do not care. They will blame it all on George Bush and just say "we told you so, we should never be involved in anything in the middle east, it never works".

They haven't yet realized that even defeat will not be accepted by the enemy. That it will be the merest begining of the string of humiliations reserved for them. But as soon as some sane man points this out and infringes their sacred political power again, they will have a new black beast to blame for all of it, and will happily revert to doing so.

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

The Democrats used to stand for semi-sanity.

When the new Secretary was just sworn in, I couldn't help thinking about this very thing when the oath of office came to
"..defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic.."

Always reminds me of the U S Congress...most of 'em anyway.

JFK established the precedent with the Bay of Pigs. Democrats promised the Cubans support and abandoned them to the bloodbath. Democrats got us into Vietnam and abandoned those foolish enough to support the US to the killing fields and years of torture. They voted to get us into Iraq so they could enjoy yet another bloodbath.

there is soooo many ways our congress prove they are traitorous b@st@rds.

They want to open our borders making us lose our sovereignty. They refuse to allow us to drill for our own oil and prevent the construction of refineries and power plants.

Yes congress is hateful in so many ways beside their obvious anti military anti war traitorous behavior.

This year, with complete scumbags like Obama running for President and Al Franken running for the Senate we will see exactly how far down the toilet this nation has actually swirled. The grand experiment of the founders may finally be over.

This hits the nail on the head. Republicans would gain more traction if they quit playing nice about this. What the Democrat party has been doing with the Iraq issue has emboldened the enemy and has resulted in further endangerment of our soldiers. There should have been a single voice coming from America on Iraq and terrorism but instead we had one party not just desert a President they did not like but also deserted the interests of their own country.

This is not new, it is just more apparent today than at any other time since Vietnam. They also did everything they could as a party to undermine Reagan during the cold war. They even wrote that we had to accept that the greatness of America was coming to an end and even now they appear to long for a day when American sovereignty is gone and replaced by the UN. It has become very clear that a vote for the Democrat party is inextricably intertwined with a vote for the enemy. The enemy knows this. They know which party is the party of American weakness. The same party that is largely responsible for the moral decay that is despised in the MiddleEast.

The left instead seem to be totally oblivious to the fact that they would be the primary targets by Islamic sharia law. They seem to not understand that civil rights as they define them (sexual immorality and deviancy) would face severe suppression. They don’t seem to realize that the weakness which is inherent in their world view of peace is an invitation for invasion and attack.

Well, what are we going to do about this treasonous bunch of cowards? I’m ready, give me a plan. Frankly, I’m tired of being screwed by Congress, the Dems, RINOs and McCain, worthless, so, let’s DO something.

We’re not stupid or gutless while many of our finest continue fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, we can’t expect them to DO IT ALL, can we?

BTW, why haven’t we indicted Kerry and Fonda yet for God’s sake??

Just remember, to Democrats, killing people of color or of another ethnicity is only OK if they are killed by other people of the same color/ethnicity. That's perfectly acceptable to them, no matter the numbers killed. If the US military has to kill a few of the BAD ones to protect the rest of the GOOD ones in a time of war, then we're EVIL in the minds of these logic- challenged turncoats, nevermind the disparity in the number of people killed when we do it, vs when "their own" do it. Dem brains are warped and/or washed.

Benedict Obama will be a fine leader for this type of hypocritical, self-centered idiocy, exemplified by the Stalinists on the Dem side of the political spectrum for going on nearly 50 years now.

The Dem party is nothing more than the communist arm of Soviet era Russia. They are the giant donkey in the living room, crapping all over the place, which half the household is perfectly thrilled with. They are the enemy within, and anything that can harm America's strategic image around the world is a wonderful thing to them, as it is to their Kremlin overseers.

When are the dupes in this country going to wake up and see this party for what it is? The Dem party leadership is nowhere near as scary as the idiots that blindly support them and think they work for America's best interests. The Dem party leadership is comprised of a handful of people. The people who vote for the ideology of that shameful, small group, are numbered in the tens of millions, which is far more frighteneing to me than a handful of commy-bots in the government.

WAKE UP, AMERICA!

(BTW, can anyone tell me how to post pictures here? None of the code I use on other forums seems to work for me here. I checked the help links, and still couldn't find any info I could use on it. I'm not very computer savvy.)

“Thirty-two years ago, in 1975, after America and the Republic of Vietnam had fought and won a ten-year war to save South Vietnam from the predations of the communist north, a Democrat Congress voted to terminate life support for South Vietnam in the face of another North Vietnamese invasion, backed by the USSR. A Democrat Congress voted to “pull the plug,” and condemned millions of Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotions to death, torture, imprisonment, and re-education camps, and condemned others to flee their homes and countries as refugees. That, in my view, was the blackest day in American history, and the blood of those people is on the hands of the Democrats who voted to abandon them.”

Yesterday, I had a discussion with a fellow employee. She as well as another coworker support Obama because he wants out of Iraq. My fellow Americans are not worth one Soldier's life. Most of my fellow Americans are ignorant of the great deeds done by this great country. Most of my fellow Americans place no value on freedom or liberty. Most of my fellow Americans cannot tell the difference between a freedom loving country and a fascist dictatorship. According to most of my fellow Americans Chavez is freedom loving leader while Bush equals Hitler. I have lost all faith in my fellow Americans.
