Someone mentioned a comparison of the tax proposals by the candidates, so I decided to Google it up and what I saw shocked me
Take a gander at the 'unbiased selection' of news articles pulled up by Google News on this topic:
The lead story is presently (and has been for at least a half hour or so) from "Think Progress" and reads: "Top McCain Adviser Blatantly Lies About Obamas Tax Proposals"
Other stories are changing, yet they have this one, WRITTEN 22 HOURS AGO, nailed as the lead story. Click on the link and there are dozens more recent.
I thought Google claimed, "stories are sorted without regard to political viewpoint or ideology" And who the hell is "Think Progress"? A self-proclaimed liberal blog run by a former DNC research associate. C'mon Google, give us a break.
Ever notice FR and other forums don’t show up on Google and bloggers do.
This is not the Google I knew.
Google used to include “Democratic Underground” as a NEWS source on news.google.com. I think they have finally ended that practice, but it wasn’t because of the venom and violent rhetoric on thier site (which is in violation of Google’s terms for qualified news servives).
The same search on Live.com yielded much more reasonable results.
I have screenshots saved from the past hour and everything else changes on the page. Pity Google is getting out of the innovation business and into the political arena.
Hey Obama, is that a Google in your pocket or are you just happy to see Larry Sinclair?
Google uses bots to index all available pages on the Internet...type “site:freerepublic.com” into Google search and you’ll see that Google has indexed almost 4 million keywords or pages on FR.
Google’s secret “search formulas” seem to be heavily weighted toward recent postings lately, without regard to accuracy.
Anything posted on the often incorrect and moronic blog “yahoo answers” gets indexed within seconds.
I suspect that the internet folks at Obama, Inc. are twisting the heck out of these weaknesses in their model.
One wonders if Google staffers are helping the Bami folks out with a bit of insider info. I wouldn’t put it past them.
Google is the biggest proponent of Net Neutrality.
That's because Obama's ardent followers are not swayed by logic, reason, or truth. To them, regardless of his positions, his gaffes, his past, or his associations, he is an idol.
Those wild eyed people represent the millions of Americans raised in the government day-care and indoctrination centers we call public schools who did not have, or would not listen to, parents and others who tried to counterweight the garbage they heard at school...who have been raised on 60 second sound bite time spans and know no better.
You have other tens of millions on the dole who will vote for him regardless of position because he promises to keep pilfering the public largess for them.
Still othes of millions will vote for him simply because he is black.
Other millions will vote for him because they know exactly who he is and what he represents and agree with his anti-American positions.
The first three are all what is termed, useful idiots, a term coined by Lenin for the dupes he got to support him.
Against this it is left to us to educate, arouse, and amass the tens of millions of Americans who understand and hold fast to the foundational principles our constitutional republic rests upon...many of them the bitter, rural Americans clinging to their guns and religion that Obama so arrogantly spoke of.
Note this comparison:
Barack Hussein Obama is the apex of the hate-America, domestic enemy in this country. His election as president would be the greatest coup any enemy has ever scored against this country and could easily lead to the worst, horrific disaster in our nation's history.

If yopu click on the link right now: http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&q=tax%20proposals&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wn that link from ‘ThinkProgress’ is showing as 23 hours old. Click on the “all 1,765 news articles »” at the bottom of that batch and the first page runs anywhere from 1 hour to 18 hours old (Sorted by relevance). Sorted by date it’s 1 hour to 5 hours old. That ThinkProgress hit piece isn’t anywhere to be found.
If Google is claiming to support Net Neutrality then Eric Schmidt needs to do some housekeeping. http://www.google.com/help/netneutrality.html He can start with his own news page.
I really like the Google front page (igoogle) but there is no doubt it is far left. When the politics tab comes up, the first already installed links are Daily Kos, PBS, CNN and Democracy Now.
Of course, the reason I like it is I can delete all those things and put in Fox News and Little Green Footballs.
Is that a google in Al's pants or is he just happy to see us.
