To be fair, my tax returns don’t show much charitable giving, either. Or even any.
That’s because I don’t see what business it is of the government’s, not because I don’t give.
That’s pretty much my philosophy. What the government doesn’t know about my giving won’t hurt them (although the deduction would be nice, were it not for the privacy thing).
Thats because I dont see what business it is of the governments, not because I dont give.
But you see thats where you're different than Barry Obama. Barry does feel that its the governments business.
Its the governments business to know how much you give.
And its the governments business to make you give.
He's the one running for office, on the grounds that rich people, like him, should be giving more.
He wants to lead this country. Let him lead by example first.
