18 YEARS AGO...and the LUNACY OF JOHN MCCAIN won't let him raise money with the man. Hell, the guy apologized...18 years ago....but the John McNUTS campaign cannot forgive....Forgiveness is never EVER applied to Republicans, even if they apologize at the time...but is ALWAYS applied to Democrats! (see: Klansman Byrd, "Hymie-town" Jesse Jackson or Brothel-sheltering Barney Frank!

Is uh, Howard Dean also in charge of McCain's campaign, too?

NO, NO, John McPain can forgive — Democrats! It’s his so-called “fellow” Republicans that he loathes.

Bobby Knight did that joke before this in a 1988 interview with Connie Chung...and he was forgiven...sorta.

Poor Claytie, he may be rich, but he has no where else to go but the McPain stables this year.

Sorry, but McCain was right here. Those comments are repulsive. McCain is absolutely correct in not associating himself with a piece of sh*t like that.

By the way, the size of your text in the OP is a bit overkill.

That line was old when it got Tex Antoine canned from WABC TV back in 74.

Didn’t Saint McCain use a derogatory word for Asians in the past. Based on the standards he foists on other people the guy should not run for dog catcher.

If I was as intolerant of a person's words or actions as McCain apparently is, I sure as hell wouldn't be considering a vote for him.

John McCain should recuse himself from the nomination for this joke that he told:

“Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?
Because her father is Janet Reno.”

Man, I gotta’ tell ya’ . . . not being a McCain supporter myself either, do you expect him to make a stand on principle here? And what principle would that be?

McCain is such a jerk. This is yet ANOTHER of his major faults. He has fired loyal campaign workers because they were formerly “lobbyists.”

He also disowned Pastor John Hagee AFTER Hagee had apologized to Donohue for some anti-Catholic comments that were spoken in ignorance, because he had been misled by some of those Catholic-bashing books like “Hitler’s Pope.” (It’s OK if your typical NY Times liberal continues to believe those lies about Pius X, but it’s not OK if a pastor was temporarily taken in by them until someone took the trouble to educate him on the matter.)

It was a genuine apology, Donohue accepted it, and in his most recent Catholic League newsletter describes a very pleasant and productive meeting with Pastor Hagee and his wife in his New York office. But that wasn’t good enough for McCain. McCain can reach across the aisle, and never quarrels with his Democrat partners, but he never hesitates to throw his friends and party associates under the bus.

Williams' comments made national news at the time and remain easy to find on the Internet. Even so, McCain's campaign said it hadn't known about the remarks.

Oh love that standard CNN. A standard that of course doesn't apply to the left in general and to Obama in particular.

CNN and the rest of the LMSM totally accept that Obama was unaware of the attitude/remarks of his personal pastor for 20 years and yet McCain is supposed to know all from 18 years ago. Again a blatant, in-your-face example of the LMSM's hypocrisy.

It would appear that the MSM has McCain afraid to blow his nose. He’s doomed.

The guy is radioactive. McCain’s staff shouldn’t have scheduled an event with him in the first place.

Personally, I’m not the kind of person who looks back 18 years to see what people have said.

However, this is a political campaign people - the Dems took out a fine conservative last year because he called an obnoxious political operative a monkey. I guarantee if McCain hadn’t cancelled, the Dems would have brought it out and made McCain look like a virulent sexist.

Politics is war, and you have to be ruthless, especially when the press is devoted to making sure your opponent wins.

This from the party that still considered the wife of serial rapist Bill Clinton a viable candidate THIS YEAR.

They don’t give a Rat’s ass over the issue. It is a lot of Macaca. Phony outrage.

In McCain’s article about his captivity in Vietnam, he used the word “gook” quite a few times. Guess he’s not electable now. But really this is all just a distraction that’s not helping my kids!

Ayers’ partner in the Underground though it was cool that the Manson family stabbed those “pigs” and then ate in their living room.

Ayers is one of the brains behind Obama’s political machine in Chicago.

There is a WORLD of difference.

These Stalinists suck. Big time.
