The United States is in mortal period from a false friend: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The peril emanates from the totalitarian legal-religious-military-political code the Saudis call Shariah and their assiduous efforts to impose it worldwide. The danger is enormously exacerbated by the almost-complete failure of American officials at every level of government to acknowledge, let alone act to prevent, the Saudis' true agenda.
Three examples are instructive:
c A recent expose by New York Times reporter Philip Shenon of congressional and independent investigations of the murderous Sept. 11, 2001, attacks describes evidence of financial, logistical and other material support by Saudi government personnel to the perpetrators of those acts of terrorism. In "The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Investigation," Mr. Shenon suggests the Bush White House, the FBI and, not least, Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar went to considerable lengths to suppress such evidence.
In the end, what is known is principally circumstantial - notably, a seeming Saudi covert operative in Southern California housed and facilitated the movements of two of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers, was in frequent communication with a Wahhabi cleric working in the United States under Saudi diplomatic cover and received before the attacks funds drawn on an account Prince Bandar's wife used to support "charities." It nonetheless seems reasonable to conclude that, had these leads been scrupulously pursued rather than covered up, we would have a far better appreciation of the enmity felt toward this country by all too many of our so-called Saudi "friends" and "allies."

Of course they are our enemies. My idea is that no one from Saudi Arabia be allowed to enter our country for any reason (and Saudi citizens here have to leave) until gasoline goes back down to $2 a gallon. Ditto all other petroleum exporting states that are sucking us dry. Their students, tourists, shoppers, businessmen and women, job seekers, trippers, whatever can just stay in their own petroleum producing hell holes. The only real bargaining chip we have at this point is access to highly desirable American soil, the freedoms enjoyed in our country and all the benefits it offers. We should start using that chip.
the American people need to wake up.
Even if we do (doubtful, given the deathblow that the public school system has dealt to critical thought and the free exchange of ideas), you have to elect someone who is above the amount of corruption that millions of $130+/bbl. oil can buy. Fat chance.
IMHO, we'll wake up and have someone in charge who does things the right way only after a city or 6 go up in mushroom clouds. That, of course, will be rather late for those in and near those cities, and quite possibly too late for the rest of us.
I shudder to think of this nation being led by someone whose middle names are "Hussein" and "Mohammed" who, on top of his uber-Leftist views and track record hasn't even run a corner grocery store or had any foreign policy experience. McCain may be comparable to a case of food poisoning, but Obama is comparable to drinking a gallon of hemlock.

Well duh its obvious since they have all the oil hungry nations by the cojones and while we painfully squeak our cries of alarm we are shelling out money for the Arabs to get wealthier every day, the good side to this is eventually they will get too rich and their nation will collapse, Rome fell so will they.
Fraudi Arabia allahu fubar ping!
Ain’t that the truth!
The Saudis wish to be fiends..
Shoot, they ARE fiends! Slick as Satan’s greased rattlesnake.
