What a nightmare
Very sad.
Brutal. Leaves an emotional scar that lasts a lifetime.
On all especially the twin, twins are a special bond.
The headline is a lie. He saved the child he could see, he couldn’t see the other, so he couldn’t save her.
That doesn’t change the fact the story is a tragedy, but the headline is a lie, designed to play on readers’ emotions.
Exactly. He could have taken a chance and jumped back in then both dad and daughter would be dead.
We will not do anything that could be a risk without two of us there. One for each daughter. But families have more than two and then the choice would be the same. I thank God every day for the blessings I have and pray that this would never happen to us.
Imagine this man having to go back and tell the mother....
Hopefully someone will help this man understand it wasn’t a choice. He couldn’t save both. He did the best he could.
I read the story at Fox and it would seem he didn’t have much of a choice as he said he couldn’t see the girl, so he grabbed the boy. Prayers for the family.
Indeed. I can’t imagine the years of therapy this family will be going through.
