On Tuesdays "Today" show NBC's Matt Lauer confronted Dick Morris about anti-Obama rhetoric in his new book, as the "Today" co-host seemed disturbed by the political consultant's use of terms like "dangerously radical," to describe the Democratic presidential nominee.
Lauer asked Morris if he was "fearmongering," and probed "Are you trying to scare people here?" Lauer then sucked up to the Obama campaign as he pondered that a lot of the "enthusiasm" for Obama is because "he's telling people he's gonna move away from exactly that kind of politics."
The following is the full interview as it occurred on the June 24, "Today" show:
MATT LAUER: Dick Morris is a veteran political warrior. The former Clinton aide turned Clinton nemesis, is out with a new book with the longest title we have ever seen. It's called, Fleeced: How Barack Obama, Media Mockery of Terrorist Threats, Liberals Who Want to Kill Talk Radio, The Do-Nothing Congress, Companies That Help Iran, And Washington Lobbyists For Foreign Governments Are Scamming Us...And What To Do About It. Phew! Dick Morris, good morning. That's a mouthful.

Matt Lauer bugs me.
So there......
This is why lowering taxes actually increases the amount of money the gov't gets. It goes back to the idea of "making money on volume".
Matt Lauer and Obama, commies stick together.
“Lauer asked Morris if he was “fearmongering,” and probed “Are you trying to scare people here?”
Not even a pretense of being an objective journalist. A true journalist would have asked Morris to explain why he called Obama a “dangerous radical.” But, nope, Lauer went straight to his shill for Obama role and tried to discredit Morris rather than flushing out the reasons for Morris’ opions.
This is pathetic, but so commonplace now that it no longer surprises in the least.
And what’s “dangerous” here is Lauer’s whoring himself out for Obama rather than functioning as an objective journalist.
Matt Lauer IS a bug. Pick one:
Cockroach
Mealy Beatle
Dung Beatle
Bed Louse
And the media continues to take sides...
Much the same as when Lauer was known to excoriate the fearmongering by Al Gore's 2000 campaign for their accusations that "George Bush wants to privatize Social Security and throw Grandma out on the street," and "poison our drinking water and air." Ol' Matty knows how to keep his personal bias out of a story, NOT.

I pick Tick.
LOL, right. Just because Obama gives lip service to a new kind of politics, however that doesn't match his actual policy proposals which is just a regurgitation of the old left.
The "Media Talking Points" this week include "Politics of FEAR." Of course ONLY REPUBLICANS are fear mongering.
Democrats do not try to "scare" people. Anything that would remotely look like a democrat trying to scare voters would be because they are trying to CHANGE things for the better.
I scared of Barak because out of his mouth have come the words, 28% capital gains taxes, negotiate with America's enemies, want us to not drive, eat, use our heater/AC. That is for starters. Is this unfair and hateful of me. I must be a bigot.
Another media defender of Obama, Matt Lauer what a surprise. Is there any member of the media that isn't in Obama’s pocket (other than conservatives?).
Liberal “media” girlymen bug the hell out of me.
If it bothers Matt, then it must be stopped.
Bawhahahahahahaha.
