He called the Swift Boat Veterans "dishonest and dishonorable."
Big mistake.

John McCain opposed drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge because he polled soccer moms and found out they were against drilling. They thought it sounded too much like going to the dentist.
Ann is here, more drilling and pumping!

I don’t know Syncro, I don’t see much evidence that folks here can read lately. Despite what John has been, is, and will continue to be, I see an awful lot of blind support.
He trashes our party and our best and brightest, and then folks fall in line behind him. Whew...
And here I had been telling folks for decades that the things John was supporting, were wrong. Silly me.
I guess they were wrong until John did them.
Resolved: Folks, those things are wrong... unless you see McCain doing them. Then remain silent and hope nobody saw you take notice.

"The irony is, the only people McCain can count on to vote for him are the very Republicans he despises -- at least those of us who can get drunk enough on Election Day to pull the lever for him. In fact, we should organize parties around the country where Republicans can get drunk so they can vote for McCain. We can pass out clothespins with his name as a reminder and slogan-festooned vomit bags. The East Coast parties can post the number of drinks necessary for the task to help the West Coast parties. "Taking the advice of Democrats, Republicans ran "moderates" for president in 1944, 1948, 1976, 1992 and 1996. All lost. Republicans also ran a "moderate" for president in 1988, but that was unwittingly -- both to us and, fortunately, to the voters."
I thought this was one of the best lines.

Ann Coulter just can't stand John McCain any more than he can stand us. Should he win in November, it won't be with the help of the moderates and independents. It will be those despised conservatives who hold their nose and pull the lever for him not because they love him but because they love America and know what a Barack Hussein Obama presidency would do to America. Instead of chasing after Christine Todd Whitman's vote and blasting oil drilling in ANWR and embracing every nutty liberal idea under the sun, McCain would get more votes if he pursued drill more pay less, pro-life and lower taxes with a gusto. That's not the advice he gets when he reads the
New York Times. The audience RINOs pursue are exactly the very sort of idiots, who for all the pandering to them, end up voting for the Democrat. And Republican moderates wonder why they wind up losing in November. DUH

McCain is a pure nut case. He seems to be senile and incapable of realizing what is going on. Only thing that might save him is the VP. Not much choice, have to go McCain.

When I think of this November I am reminded of a study conducted decades ago.
When men use the urinal in a public restroom, they don’t wash their hands, unless witnesses are present.
Thank goodness there will not be any witnesses in the voting booth, but when I come out of the booth, I will then go wash my hands.

Coulter:
"so we can repel every American who voted for Ronald Reagan in order to win the votes of people like Christine Todd Whitman." Harsh. But needed to be said.
There's a joke here somewhere. How many moderates and centrists does it take to produce a gallon of ethanol?
One to stomp on the corn and x to turn the barrel around?
He should ask Senator Kerry to check into that "wind energy" thing:
Maybe they can get together on this with Pelosi and "get the country moving again."
