Wesley Clark 'Moving On' [Relieved of Command: Part Deux]
The Politico ^ | July 5, 2008 | David Paul Kuhn

Posted on 07/05/2008 6:22:25 AM PDT by Eurale

Four days after his controversial “Face the Nation” appearance, retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark is taking a break from the presidential campaign — but many Democratic insiders think he has already been crossed off the list of Barack Obama’s potential running mates. Sunday morning on CBS News, Clark argued that John McCain’s military experience — and his years as a prisoner of war — in no way qualified him to be president. Following his appearance, one prominent liberal blog, apparently seeing the genie as out of the bottle, launched into a considerably harsher attacks on McCain’s service headlined “Honestly, besides being tortured, what did McCain do to excel in the military?”

"The aide nonetheless revisited the remarks, saying that Clark was “asking tough questions..."

Too bad he didn't ask them of his own candidate.

Ol’ Wes doesn’t decide when he moves on from a comment. I will decide that. And so will a few other million Americans who are put out with his mouth. When your name is so close to Weasle you should be careful of what you say. Now, back to what you were saying, Weasly Clark.

if mr. clark’s comments about mr. mccain are true, then one must conclude that the degree to which mr. obama and his leftist-democrat supporters are anti-american is a prime qualification for being president.

(america is such a mean, uncompassionate country dontcha know)

Ah Yes Ole Maggot Infected Weasel Clark, the perfumed pink panty wearing pentagon poster boy of the Clintoons, aka the killer of innocent Americans civilians at Waco and innocent Christian civilians in Serbia.

Summary: Anyone, Clark tries to trash should be supported by Sane Americans, and we should withdraw any support from anyone Clark praises.

What do you expect from a guy whose chief accomplishment was to play military suck-up to a rapist?

I don’t see McCain or his campaign making an issue out of his military service.

It must be particularly grating to liberals and leftists to realize that military service is one credential they could never have - and wouldn’t want. That seems to be the explanation for their criticism of McCain.

Clark has perhaps the most impressive defense credentials and highest name recognition of any of Obama’s supporters. Tad Devine, chief strategist for John Kerry's 2004 presidential run, says that Obama needs "credentialing" from Democrats like Clark with national security credentials to establish that "he has the capacity, understanding and judgment to be president,”

Some judgement exhibited by Obama... Choice of Clark for 'impressive credentials' - Have we forgotten?

General Hugh Shelton would only say of Clark during his 2004 campaign that "the reason he came out of Europe early had to do with integrity and character issues, things that are very near and dear to my heart. I'm not going to say whether I'm a Republican or a Democrat. I'll just say Wes won't get my vote,". Shelton never elaborated further on what these issues were.

Remember Waco and the support from Clark at Ft. Hood?

Remember Kosovo's Christians?

Integrity - Character Both missing in Clark!

[I don’t see McCain or his campaign making an issue out of his military service.]

For sure. He has stated his experience in the senate has provided a certain insught that Obammy doesn’t have. His years in the military and POW camp are just factual statements.
