July 17, 2008, 8:04 am Obama Blames the Right for Attacks on Wife By Katharine Q. Seelye
Senator Barack Obama blamed the right-wing media for attacks on his wife, Michelle, that have driven up her negative ratings.
In an interview with Glamour magazine , Mr. Obama pointed to the conservative press Fox News and the National Review and columnists of every ilk, and said they went fairly deliberately at her in a pretty systematic way and that they treated her as the candidate in a way that you just rarely see the Democrats try to do against Republicans. He suggested that spouses be off limits, calling them civilians and saying they didnt sign up for this.

Sean is calling him out.
We also do not want a POTUS who hates this country either....
Is he insane? Where has he been the past seven years while the dems tried to destroy Pres. Bush? He's either a moron or completely blind, deaf, and dumb.
Is this a potential “two for one” presidency blaming the “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy”?
Tell me about how these two represent “change” again.
Hey, she does “community outreach” for a living, and gets extremely well paid for it. I’m sure she knows how to reach out and make a good impression on people. It’s her job!
Bichelle being quoted in her own words by anyone else is somehow not her fault but theirs?
Heck I feel so ashamed.

He may be a moron.
He may, on the other hand, know that his constituents are morons.
He would never admit that if he just shut her up there wouldn’t be any problem at all from anyone.
She brings it on herself, criticism doesn’t mean “attack” all the time and that is what she gets when she makes these stupid statements.
She campaigns with Mr. Obama; she makes speeches for Mr. Obama; she makes television appearances for Mr. O’Bama, etc.
His wife is fair game.
This is a race for the biggest, toughest, hardest, most wonderful job in the whole world.
Getting to the WH is not going to be easy - and it shouldn’t be.
Mr. Obama should suck it up and get on with it.
There is no crying in politics. Ask Hillary.
What a crybaby.
I don’t care for Mr. Hannity, but my money is on him kicking B.Hussein’s a$$ if the two of them get into a fight.
Yes. As someone else said, if she wants to get in the ring and wrestle, she has to accept that she may be hit with a folding chair now and then. Nobody made up what she said; all they did was repeat it. Thin-skinned whining crybabies.
These people are WAY too thin-skinned to be president and first lady.
treated her as the candidate in a way that you just rarely see the Democrats try to do against Republicans.
What a total liar.
I remember very clearly the treatment given Nancy Reagan.

“In an interview with Glamour magazine...”
Glamour magazine??? That must have been one hard-hitting interview!
Political rule number one: NEVER attack the press. You are perfectly right in questioning the press, it is also your duty to question the press but NEVER attack it.
