Any Republican or self described Conservative, regardless of color, who considers voting for Obama is nothing but a liberal fraud.

Anyone conflicted on who to vote for based on the candidate's skin color as opposed to their philosophy, skills, abilities, qualifications and other objective criteria is not a Republican and is certainly not a conservative.

Ask yourself this:

Would you trust them behind you with a loaded rifle during a race riot?

Agree re the racism = if Dem white folks indicated they were voting for McCain this time around the conclusion reached by the masses would be that those Dems were racists.

So excuse me if I think of the so-called staunch Republican blacks who will vote Obama as being racists. I have to call it as I see it.

It's The COLOR, Stupid !!

Not directed at you, personally. Just an observation.

Im not conflicted at all. I will not vote for this guy, period.

This lady is a full on fraud whom will never be able to say that she votes based on issues, and political philosophy, rather than race ever again.

If they are conflicted about Obama, then they are NOT republicans.

They’re black, first last and always.

America last.

Re “loyalty to another black over honesty.”

Well, if I were a Democrat, and white, then I should be able to in good conscience vote for McCain to show my loyalty to another white, right?

Nah, that doesn’t sound racist... or does it?

Dr. Thomas Sowell has no such conflict. I actually do because I wonder if Obama might make the Republican Party grow a spine and stop being the socialism lite brand.

Not that I could ever bring myself to vote for Obama, but I still can't bring myself to vote for McCain.

Any Black Republican that votes for Obama is putting their race before their values, morals and ideology. Shame on them.

UniCare. I signed up during an enrollment period in December. Coverage began January 1st.

You have to have Medicare coverage to qualify, but that’s the only pre-qualification. And UniCare actually replaces your Medicare coverage. The provider bills UniCare; no longer billing Medicare. And my co-pay is $10 per doctor/specialist visit, $25 per emergency room visit, and $100 per hospital stay. Some outpatient expenses have a co-pay of $35 (like the CT scan I had on Monday). Most co-pays are due at time of treatment.

Your insurance provider will discuss with you how coverage works in your area. Here, the doctors/hospitals are all on board so it was a no-brainer.

If Obama is elected it won't dispel the White hatred many Blacks have for all Whites. From what I gather from Black friends, the only thing that would dispel the hatred is if there were a time when Whites would be oppressed by Blacks. Could that happen under an Obama Presidency? I suspect it could.

It is my view that later in the electoral season, we will see a subtle shift away from Obama, into the McCain camp — not for any reason other than that McCain is NOT Obama — and he is not black, either.

Well, if it is legitimate for people to vote FOR Obama because he is black, then it must follow that it is legitimate for people to vote AGAINST Obama because he is black.

If J.C. Watts votes for Obama, then everything he ever said or did under the guise of Republican or Conservative is nothing more than a lie

Couldn't agree more. JC was handing out Obama t-shirts at some rally at Lake Eufala several weeks ago while I was out of the State. You would think he would have some kind of loyalty to the Party that kept electing him but he has complained how he was treated. That is hogwash IMHO and some black Republicans in Oklahoma have said as much. He had it all and is throwing it away. My respect for him is almost nil today after all the weasel wording on why a candidate has to basically beg for his vote -- that is if you are a Republican candidate.

J.C. Watts??

Really? Very disappointing, if true. I would doubt that’s really the case.

For a true conservative to decide to vote for one of the most liberal candidates to run for the Presidency just because he is black and she is black loses her moral principles. She is NOT just voting for a black man she is voting for someone who is radically pro-abortion and with 55 million dead American children of which 14 million were black children, selfishness or evil has touched her without her knowing it. Where was she and the rest of the black community when Alan Keyes ran for President? They could have cared less. Morals and principles have been thrown to the ravenous wolves in favor of support of the evils of abortion and homosexuality,Marxism, socialism.

The racial aspect of this election is THE issue NOT discussed openly in polite conversation; however, in the sanctity of the shrouded voting booth, it will be very much a factor. And, I will go to the mat on this analysis.

Indeed. I know many staunch democrats that DO openly discuss this in very impolite conversations. I'll never, ever count out the Clinton's until they are gone.

A true republican would judge a candadate on the content of character, not on the half darkness of his skin. If Obama was white, he would be the biggest joke since Al Gore and Kerry ombined.
