Barack Obama's world tour scored big points back home.

The presumptive Democratic nominee jumped to a significant 9-point lead over GOP rival John McCain - his largest lead since the Gallup Poll began tracking the general election horse race in March.

Obama tops McCain, 49% to 40%, among registered voters nationwide, Gallup's daily tracking poll conducted from Thursday to Saturday revealed.

The Brooks Brother's suit has much in store for you. ("Poverty bill could cost taxpayers billions") and that is just the beginning....this man who can't talk without a tele-prompter will raise you taxes to pay for his many give away welfare programs. B. Hussein Obama is a Marxist and an elitist. How bout that new swagger, with hand in the pocket looking so cool and casual. Snake Oil is written all over the man.

Character counts as does experience, neither of which the Obama's have, they don't even know let alone understand their country. McCain is wrapped in The Red, White, & Blue with years of experience. Obama is an empty tool for the anti-American socialist left.

I believe it. He got great visuals and that’s what people react to at first. But they will come down. Have already begun to, I believe.

It's too early for the poll to mean much.

McCain's character is his weak point. Adultery and other scandals. Here I see an Obama advantage with women voters who will not be thrilled to have Cindy as first lady.

Rasmussen today shows a 3pt lead today. This gallup poll is from yesterday and even today's gallup poll shows a smaller lead.

The MSM is trying to make and increase whatever lead Obama shows in the polls...but any bounce he is showing is that of a dead cat falling out of a tree.

Rasmussen’s latest poll, posted earlier, shows that Obama has gone from a 1 point lead just prior to the trip, up to a 6 point lead a day or so after his big hot air speech, and now has fallen back to a 45-42 lead.

So no, I’m not ready to buy this ‘bounce’ after the world unity appeasement tour, either. Its going to take about a week to know for sure in either case.

Concur. The campaign is a war of attrition, and Mr. Obama doesn’t exactly have a depth of supplies.

Unfortunately, McCain also seems to be campaigning without a battle plan. Maybe Kerry can loan him one of his secret plans.

“Gallup Daily: Obama 48%, McCain 40%”

Which post do we believe?

"McCain is wrapped in The Red, White, & Blue"

Do you even remember how he tried to shove Amnesty down the country's throat? I'm no Obama fan but please calm down with the flag waving sucking up for McCain. Hell McCain didn't even want to secure our borders until he locked up the nomination. If it were not for conservatives storming the capitol with phone calls McCain and Bush would've succeeded in their effort to sell out our country. So please lets not act like this guy is Captain America.

Obama’s tour was a media event and an opportunity for the MSM to swoon over Obama. It was all style and no substance. It was all fluff and no stuff. When Obama couldn't bring his media stooges to the military hospital he cancelled the event, it was just for the cameras. I don't see how anyone who observed the trip could not see Obama is a fraud.

So please lets not act like this guy is Captain America.

So our choice is between a faux 'Captain America' who wants Mexicans to pick our lettuce and a real 'Comrade Soviet America' who wants to implement a latter day version of Lenin's and Stalin's socialist nightmare.

As bad as McCain might be, the choice is pretty clear.

This does not tally with Rasmussen polls released today. He is not up by 9. I don’t believe any of these polls to start with. They are set up to make this a**hat look good, but I am not buying it and neither are most conservatives and quite a few democrat voters, namely Hillary supporters. Some are jumping ship and voting republican this year. I think the empty suit is in for a big november surprise, if he doesn’t get sunk in the convention, which is still possible.

maybe i´m wrong but i guess beeing so popular in europe will
backfire at him in the US election. because if i assume i would be an american voter i would really think twice to vote for him because so many europeans would vote him. Who are we to tell americans for whom they should vote for? the same goes the other way around people here don´t like it very much if forreign countries tell them who they like to see as our next president.

The 9 points is just from the return to the country of all of the “journalists” who support him.
