OGDENSBURG, N.Y. — A veteran state trooper and a civilian were electrocuted while fixing a flat tire on an antique fire truck when the truck's ladder touched a high-voltage power line, police said.

Brings to mind that case in 2005 in which four people erecting a tent at a Boy Scout rally got killed when the tent pole contacted a power line.

Working with antique equipment can be dicey. And requires lots of time and sacrifice. These men were doing their best and something failed them.
