What a stupid political stunt. Clinton raided the reserve to pander, now Obama wants to do the same thing. Obama reveals himself more and more every day as a dangerous incompetent.
In the end, the released oil did nothing to bolster domestic supply, but was purchased by several questionable buyers and sold abroad, if I recall.
