“Most Christians think that America will be judged, is paying for it’s sins, blah blah blah. This is cause and effect of selfish, narcassistic people running or should I say, ruining our nation for the last 20 or so years.”

And even many NON-Christians saying this as well, that America is bad, cruel, evil - as you said, blah blah blah. One candidate (and his wife) in particular is running on this platform.

Thanks for the great reply!!!

My pleasure. Take care and God bless the USA! I am not ashamed to talk about Jesus, Judeo Christian values and the Founding Fathers. When the nation gets back to that point and loves it’s neighbors as it loves themselves then we will be in good shape again.

“and God bless the USA!”

Amen to that, and despite the media, I still believe that most of this country deeply feels the same way. Call me corny, but I get misty-eyed at any event, anywhere, hearing the Star Spangled Banner or saying the Pledge of Allegiance. Heck, even some of the others like America the Beautiful - and the GREAT Lee Greenwood song God Bless the USA - Love that one!!! It’s really a tear-jerker!

I’m very sappy, okay??? But I think it’s a good thing :-)))

No, it is not sappy at all. All of these songs and slogans of America point to freedom. There are so many beautiful places in the world, but without freedom to enjoy them, it is all shades of grey.
