Some of the nation's largest labor organizations are calling for legalization of all the nation's undocumented workers and have conceded the guest worker issue.

"There is no good reason why any immigrant who comes to this country prepared to work, to pay taxes, and to abide by our laws and rules should be denied what has been offered to immigrants throughout our country's history -- a path to legal citizenship," said Ana Avendano, assistant general counsel for the AFL-CIO, which represents 53 unions nationally.

The AFL-CIO and the Change to Win coalition, collectively representing about 15 million workers, or about 12.7 percent of the U.S. labor force, say undocumented workers need to be brought into the fold.

So Unions want to bring illegals into the fold and get rid of secret ballots with Card-Check. The bad thing is that they still have a billion dollars to spend on this election.

Unions are the only competitor to Congress’s reputation as a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Unions want power and money. That comes with bigger membership. Illegals want “rights.” Its a natural, if unholy, alliance.

OK...fine.So step #1 must be to replace *every* individual currently serving in a leadership position in any union supporting this with an illegal alien.

“any immigrant “

They always do this.....they don’t say, “any law breaking, identity-stealing illegal alien”.....

That’s different.....

Where's the Jedi Council when they're needed?

She's absolutely right.

And it starts with legal entry. If you have been abiding by our laws and our rules, you wouldn't have crossed the border unless it was legal for you to do so. In other words, you'd be a legal immigrant.

If they abide by our laws, they would immigrate legally.

"Their" reasons are threefold:

1. The union masses may have some sympathy with "getting" rid of the competitiion of cheap illegal labor by driving up their prices equal to union prices,

2. The union bosses want to continue corruption and bring new sheeple "Democrats" into the fold to hold sway over elected Democrats for payoffs, bribes, and favors, and

3. Ms Avedano and those of her ilk have a racial axe to grind, period.

McCarthy was right! If you have time for some reading, pick up “Blacklisted By History”. It is a book that uses a lot of research from every available source that shows that McCarthy was right in 99% of what he said and history (as written by liberal academia and the MSM) is totally wrong on him.

One of the things in the book that REALLY stuck out for me was how the liberals and Democrats invented the very same tactics to smear, defame, discredit, and personally ruin him for life that they still use to this day! They lied, they brought phony evidence to committee hearings, they mislead committee members, they bluffed committees to the point that it would have made Doyle Brunson proud, they combed through every bit of his family history and finances looking for any bit of mud (politics of personal destruction) to be used against him, ect.

When I read about these tactics used against McCarthy and thought about “the bottom of the deck BS” Democrats and their allies use today it made me madder than a blind man living in a nudist colony!

Also, if you want to see how the stage was set for modern day propaganda and indoctrination, I would also recommend “Hoodwinked” by Jack Cashill.

Yes, the Unions want to eliminate labor competition from undocumented workers who do work at 1/2 to 1/4th the price of pricey, regulated and bureaucratic Union Labor.

If the can promise a Mexican a $40/hour wage with benefits and keep some of his wages as dues, he accomplishes two things...he adds more members, thus contributions AND stops scab labor that undercuts his monopoly.

What a bunch of crap.

Whenever I hear the argument that they’ll do jobs that Americans won’t do, I think “wait’ll they get organized”. When lettuce reaches ten dollars a head, maybe people will see through this ridiculous assertion.

Unions are nothing more than organized crime with big liberal Democrat supporting them with a wink and a nod.

I proudly support “at-will” corporations first.

Doesn't #1 get rid of the reason businesses are hiring them in the first place? i.e. laborers who will do those low-paying jobs most US citizens won't? /s

It is still getting rid of the competition. Bottom line is that unions don’t want low pay for anyone. They’d rather see us get screwed than see a brother get unfair (in their pampered estimation) wages.

It’s official: unions have now sold their own members out, along with their own country.

Great idea.

American industry has rusted, so the unions' intelligence says it's time to organize the millions of illegals.

‘prepared to work, to pay taxes, and to abide by our laws and rules’ Sorry, when they step foot on our soil, they are also using the infrastructure (schools, hospitals, road, communication, governmental services, etc.) that legal American people have built over the decades, something that they will never repay in their lifetime.
