From a non-Jew, it would smack of anti-semitism. From Eric Alterman? You be the judge.
The author of the Altercations column at Media Matters has a running complaint: Rick Klein, editor of The Note at ABC News, pays too much respect to the writings of other Jewish pundits. Jennifer Rubin, one of the chief bloggers at Commentary's "Contentions" blog, was Alterman's first target, in his August 1 column [emphasis added throughout]:
"I realize I may be the only person in the world to care about this, and I only care a tiny bit, but what does Commentary's Jennifer Rubin have on The Note's Rick Klein?
"I realize that Mr. Klein is, in many respects, a fully-worked ref, citing right-wing publications that have proven consistently wrong about everything throughout the past eight years -- following the requisite ABC advertising which justifies the expense of the effort to his corporate overlords -- while ignoring those on the center-left who have proven right. But even so, Commentary? Come now. The guy cites her every day. Are they dating? Did his mother lose a bet to her mother
"Does he actually think that Commentary, edited by John Podhoretz like a family dry-cleaning business, is actually a worthwhile publication? (OK, that one's impossible.) What gives?"

LOL. Hey, Alterman, I'll give you this, you're certainly the only person in the world to care about your own pompous babblings.....
Eric Alterman sees a vast Jewish neo-con conspiracy ping to Today show list.
It’s feudal.
He thinks that he gets to decide how a person should vote.
Except that the Constitution says he is all wet.
LOL
The living, breathing Constitution thinks that Alterman is all wet.
He's not. More like a gadgnat...
Read Peter Schweizers’ new book (the guy who wrote “Do As I say, Not As I Do”) where we details the polling data which shows that Democrats are somewhere around 20% more likely to believe any negative stereotype that you put in front of them than are Conservatives/Republicans.
Anti-Semitism is tolerated in the Demoncrat Party but it is a death sentence in the GOP. And why, you ask? Because not only are Christians better friends of Israel than most Jews in America but the intolerance and religious hatred which is usually found in anti-semites is indicative of deeper personal and moral problems which affect all people of faith, morality and decency.
I’ll happily sit at a table full of conservative Christians at a fundraiser than sit at a table full of average ‘Jews’ at some “World Forum” event about the Middle East. Anyday of the week and twice on the Sabbath!
Alterman makes me want to put a warning sign on my mezuzah saying “don’t touch if you believe in ‘social justice’”.
Rant \ off
“Are they dating?”
If he’s quoting her everday, yeah, they’re probably screwing eachother.
Such is office politics...
Oh yeah, Media Matters isn’t biased....
Oh yeah, Media Matters isn’t biased...
Some negative stereotypes hold up - Wire rim glasses and a half-ass Van Dyke that won’t grow in.
Actually, they don’t work in the same office: she’s at Commentary, he’s at ABC.
And before you go jumping to conclusions, don’t forget: they also were saying Edwards was having an affair with Rielle Hunter ;-)

Is there something less significant than a gnat but which is much louder? How about a cicada? Just than annoying droning on and on and on and on without end and without ever changing its tune. (And you can never find them so you can shoot them)
Sadly, more than half of Jews in America don’t care whether or not Israel continues to exist. Only 46% consider there being a Jewish state important. And most American jews think that Israelis are more likely to be as guilty as the terrorists in Hamas or the PLO.
I fully and loudly (again) disassociate myself from my fellow ‘Jews’ in America in most all manners and beliefs.
Eric Alterman? Heh. I haven’t heard that pantload’s name in a long time.
Yup. The William Ayers psychotic dork look.
Alterman had a nasty habit of "orally cleaning" Bill & Hillary Clinton's nether regions during the impeachment wars, and he STILL hasn't washed his face to this day...
Sorry I think Commentary is one of the BEST intellectual magazines published. I can not stand this smug DOB.
