Federal prosecutors have sent target letters to six Blackwater Worldwide security guards involved in a September shooting that left 17 Iraqi civilians dead, indicating a high likelihood the Justice Department will seek to indict at least some of the men, according to three sources close to the case.

Can't be prosecuted if they can't be found. Just saying.

These guys can disappear very easily to a non-extradition nation.

How can the US Justice Department prosecute them for acts committed in Iraq?

These guys thought they were in danger; they were protecting their charge. The 17 Iraqis killed were collateral damage, just like happens with the military, and like happens in all wars. To prosecute the Blackwater employees is a miscarriage of justice.
