Obama: 'I will win'
Politico ^ | Aug. 18, 2008 | Ben Smith

A confident Barack Obama raised an extraordinary $7.8 million Sunday at three California fundraisers, most if it in large checks to a Democratic Party committee.

"I will win. Don't worry about that," he said to the crowd of about 1,300 at his third event of the evening, according to the pool report.

He was warmly received by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who called him "a leader that God has blessed us with at this time."

Obama echoed some of the themes he discussed when he described Pennsylvanians as "bitter" and stoked controversy three months ago, but did so much more adroitly.

Just think about the Obama-Pelosi-Reid all-Democrat team in charge of the country.

All Obama has is money, and all the money in the world won’t get a person with no principles elected to anything.

Win what? The only thing Obama is gonna win is a one-way ticket back to the Windy City.

Echoes of the Wellstone funerally: “We Will Win!” which worked out so well for them.

Knowing the Klintoons ... that statement may be prophetic

Reminds me of Enrico Pollini in Rat Race (played by Rowan Atkinson):

“I’m weening! I’m weening!”

Just think about the Obama-Pelosi-Reid all-Democrat team in charge of the country.

I'm trying not to think about it. It's like thinking about what Hell would be like all the time.

He (Obama) was warmly received by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who called him "a leader that God has blessed us with at this time."

Well, there's a megabarfer. I can only thank God I wasn't watching TV when that one came out of her silly mouth.

Nor one with no brains — As was exhibited at the debate. The guy isn’t much of a thinker is he. Obamabi needs his Teleprompter, without it, the needle doesn’t even move. I bet everyone who watched laughed at the naive one.

Here is the classic case of someone spending his entire life learning how to enunciate and speak, and not learning a thing about what to say. It’s an amazing sight to see.

Considering that Pelosi's "god" is either Baal or Moloch, Obama may well have been sent from "god."

I cannot judge her soul, but I am ashamed that someone with her public views calls herself "Catholic."

Christ have mercy.

Pelosi, who called him "a leader that God has blessed us with at this time."

I'm confused, did he bless himself or is he merely the son of God?

"I will win"

Whatever you say, Obama. You are fighting the Clinton and McCain Camp simultaneously whether you know it or not.

McCain wants to win this year, and it is unclear if Hillary wants to win this year or in 2012.

Either way, Hillary is up to something and it ain't good for a black racist named Obama.

Obammy hasn’t won anything...yet. Hell, I would be very surprised if he even gets the nomination.

My money is on Hillary Clinton to emerge from Denver as the nominee. Never, ever bet against the Clinton’s....

Obama was an unknown. As the process vettes who he is, he will continue to lose support until even Dukakus could beat him.

That doesn’t mean we won’t have the race riots when he loses. Heck, we’ll start seeing them when it starts becoming APPARENT that he won’t win. Give us a few weeks of McCain clearly leading in the poles to see, at first, isolated events, followed by more and more “watts” type rioting.

I could be wrong, but we are indeed living in interesting times.

“You underestimate the ignorance and foolishness of the American people.”

You are exactly right!

You can take it to the bank; every black church, every black organization, every Muslim Mosque, every Muslim organization in every town and city across this country will get their people to the polls- even bus ‘em in.
Every person who stays home, votes third party or ‘write in’ in helping to put Barack Hussein Obama into the White House.
McCain is the only thing standing in his way.
