Former Secretary Madeline Albright criticizes White House reaction to Georgia/Russia conflict and calls Putin and Bush meeting in Beijing "very peculiar" on CNN's "Situation Room."
Im speaking from myself personally. I found it very peculiar, that as the Russians were on the borders of Georgia and also practically going in, that President Bush and President Putin had kind of a passing conversation at the Olympics and I also think Secretary Rice should have gone to Moscow.

Get ready for the “Putin and Bush trying to get McCain elected” spin.
To: Rufus2007
Albright is just saying that Bush planned this thing with Putin to make McCain look good. Just wait, it is coming. These kooks believe that Bush had something to do with 9-11 there is no limit to their self-delusion.

She’s right. Bush and Putin should have been toasting each other with champagne, like Maddy did with the short guy from N Korea.

Just another member of the UnAmerican Democrat Party agitating against her country and President during a serious foreign policy crisis.
She does not believe it for a minute, but worse, she is using her former SOS position to smear a President of the United States, for votes.

I still think the people who had Mad Maddy pegged are the Bosnian leaders who sent her away when she knocked on the door of their hotel room one night during the Balkans crises — they thought she was the hotel maid, and their snap impression of who she was is basically accurate. She is one who has been allowed to operate “far above her pay grade” due to the “Peter Principle”.....
