What was the price of gas at your local station and why are Dems being rewarded for gross incompetence?
Control the news media, control reality.
It’s not that the democrats are being rewarded for gross incompetence, it’s that the republicans in the Senate are not holding the democrats responsible for their incompetence. When the republicans lose big in November, they need only thank Senators Graham, Chambless, Isakson, Thune and Corker. Their little Gang of 10 compromise has given the democrats cover on energy.
I haven’t looked at the Louisiana polls lately, but John Kennedy was gaining on Mary Landrieu by holding her feet to the fire over her vote against oil shale extraction. Mary is part of the Gang of 10 - I wonder if John Kennedy feels like he has been stabbed in the back by his 5 republican colleagues?
Ensign is dreaming if he thinks we are only going to lose 2-4. At this point its getting really ugly with the NRSC having to pull funds out of races that we really can’t afford for them to do so.
