Most conservatives did not think that the selection of Palin was truly under consideration, but we have all been pleasantly surprised. Perhaps “surprised” understates our emotions. How about “shocked”, “awed”, “inspired”, and “thrilled”! It simply doesn’t get any better than the 44 year old Palin. If conservatives were caught off guard, you may rest assured that the Democrats were even more blown away – and in spite of last night’s Obama euphoria, they will lose considerable sleep tonight.
Look at this! Palin is all of:
· A Devout Christian
· Pro-Life & Traditional Family Values
· Fiscal Conservative
· Tax-Cutter
· Business Executive Experience
· Energy Expert & Oil Industry Savvy
· Peace Through Strength Philosophy
· Gubernatorial Experience
· Lifetime Member of the NRA
Her great looks, classy image, poise, grit, and speaking skills will establish her as a dynamo on the campaign trail. It just doesn’t get any better than this! I am almost as excited as I was organizing rallies for Reagan during the 1980s.
This was a hard fight for a high stakes appointment, with much blogging, e-mailing, and lobbying behind the scenes. It’s time to unite, heal the wounds, and defeat the humanist-secularist-socialist-enivironmentalwacko-pacifist-extremist-religionists and further the cause of LIFE, LIBERTY, & TRUTH!
Other than gender, I can’t see a great deal of difference between Palin and Reagan.
Plus her executive skills versus Snowbami and BinBiden and other rats in congress:

The more I think about it, the more I like it. My whole family sent the message to John McCain that if he did not pick a true conservative for VP his bid for POTUS was doomed.
That’s why Laura gets paid the big bucks...to tell everyone the obvious.

Not only that, but as an added bonus, when she goes hunting her aim will be better than Cheney’s. If she shoots somebody, you’ll know it’s on purpose. :)

She already has more executive experience than everyone else on either ticket combined.
All the McCain/Palin campaign (I love the look of that typed out) needs to do is tout her time as mayor AND governor, and what she accomplished as govenor, which equals executive experience, and then bring up Biden’s time in the Senate (and Obama’s age when Biden was first elected) equalling NO executive experience.
Actually, I think this will bring more attention to Obama's lack of experience. When the MSM starts comparing experience/accomplishments, Barry will come out the loser.
My only beef with Palin is that she gave her kids weird names. Otherwise, I agree with Laura.
