I expect to see a big McCain bump next week—as the public sees him and Palin with their sleeves rolled up working to help people. It’s going to make a very marked juxtaposition to Obama in his Greek temple with celebs serenading him.
I'm sure the MSM will be doing their best to make sure those pictures do not materialize.
I have a feeling the GOP convention is going to be low key and that over the top..
Yes, and criticizm of McCain helping people, just wouldn’t work...but they could have criticized every word at the RNC.
I think this will be a testing ground for FEMA, and it is already being said how well this is working. The three years of preparation is being tested, and when I said to see the glass half full (to someone else), it meant that the Repubs needed to test this, before Bush left office.
Noone wants a hurricane or it’s destruction (expecially me having been through several, and having my property destroyed), but it is going to happen at some time, so NOW is an opportunity to show that plans are in order, and the plan can work as it was originally intended. In Fact, Gov Jingal is doing a great job, and not ignoring Bush’s commands for mandatory evacuation as happened during Katrina by the Female Gov, and Mayor Nagan then...Now Nagin is motivated.
