Lieberman was Lieberman. It remains to be seen how much of the swing voter (~ 20% to 25% ??) he had an affect on. Even if his speech moves 5% of the swing voters from Obama to McCain, that's a 2% shift in the votes.

Hillary is telling her voters to vote McCain by not disparaging McCain, IMO. Her “endorsement” of Obama was nothing of the sort, LOL.

Hillary has everything to gain by taking the high road here, and condemning the left for these attacks. All she has to do is acknowledge that extreme, hate-filled people have taken over the party under the guise of liberalism, etc. It isn't what she stands for, and its time for them to be denounced- and challenge Obama to do just that. She can trump him by taking the leadership roll here.

And she has everything to win. There is no way she's going to help Obama. And as the victim of the very same smear and sexist attacks now happening to Palin, you just know she wants payback.
