Yeah, right,/sarc...just don’t pray a prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, because that might be diversive, or as one Chaplain O-6 expressed himself, his faith was so strong that he didn’t have to pray in the name of Christ...go figure.
Your opinion might be more credible if you knew how to spell "divisive."
Context depends. Chaplains are used in multiple settings. Sometimes they wear their pastor hat; other days they're counselors; other times, their job is to represent the lowest common denominator. It's not divisive for a Chaplain to pray in the name of Jesus at a specifically Christian service. It is divisive for him to do so at a change of command ceremony that every soldier must attend.
