O PASTOR IN SEX SCANDAL REV. WRIGHT DONE ME WRONG: CHURCH LADY (Obama Pastor Problem)
New York Post ^ | September 9, 2008 | SAMUEL GOLDSMITH in Dallas and JEANE MacINTOSH in NY

Posted on 09/09/2008 4:22:09 AM PDT by tlb

firebrand pastor Jeremiah Wright has helped destroy a Dallas church worker's marriage - and her job, The Post has learned.

Elizabeth Payne, 37, said she had a steamy sexual affair with the controversial, racially divisive man of the cloth while she was an executive assistant at a church headed by a popular Wright protégé.

Payne's husband dumped her, and she was canned from the plum job at Friendship-West Baptist Church, she told The Post.

"I was involved with Rev. Wright, and that's why I lost my job and why my husband divorced me," Payne said.

So Wright stole his current wife from another man after they came to him for marriage counseling. My goodness, just when you think this racist, America-hating scumbag can't sink any lower.

And this 37-year old woman seems to have a thing for old guys.

I wonder if Obama’s kids are his or are they the good Rev Wright’s, suppose its fair to ask if they continue doing the same to Sarah.

Honestly, I can hardly see how this is relevant. We’ve got a lot of legitimate beefs with 0bama — let’s use that.

Well, you have to cut him some slack. I think in their religion they can actually have 4 wives.

Wonder how many other lies are hidden in the church of hate?

From the New York Times, April 28, 2008
Reverend Wright at the National Press Club
"In the late 1960s, when Dr. James Cone's powerful books burst onto the scene, the term 'black liberation theology' began to be used. I do not in any way disagree with Dr. Cone, nor do I in any way diminish the inimitable and incomparable contributions that he has made and that he continues to make to the field of theology. Jim, incidentally, is a personal friend of mine."
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/28/us/politics/28text-wright.html?_r=1&ref=politics&oref=sloginL

From Jeff Head's website...
One notable quote from [James] Cone describing his Black Liberation Theology is as follows:

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." - "Divine Racism: The Unacknowledged Threshold Issue for Black Theology", in African-American Religious Thought: An Anthology, by William R Jones, ed Cornel West and Eddie Glaube (Westminster John Knox Press).

African American Religious Thought: An Anthology (Paperback)
by Cornel West (Editor), Eddie S. Glaude Jr. (Editor)
http://www.amazon.com/African-American-Religious-Thought-Anthology/dp/0664224598

"Their founding document [the Weather Underground's] called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial" movements[1] to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism."..."-Berger, Dan (2006). It’s relevant when CNN does an expose’ of Sarah’s church for believing in the rapture and praying for gays.

Man, are we gonna have to hear Obama called by that same lame single letter Oprah goes by?

I don’t understand....she is white? Rev. Wright’s “protoge’” was white?! And he doesn’t like interracial couples?

I think I took a wrong turn....is this the twilight zone?
