Yes, he owns mostly around the Bozeman/Yellowstone/Big Sky area. Bozeman is a college town, so you could reasonably expect them to go blue. However, you’ve also got small ranches around Belgrade, Manhattan, Three Forks, etc., that will probably go red.

My experience has been the ranchers are more conservative.

Absolutely.

Talk about a class of culture and values.

I have friends who are native Montanians and they tell me all the time how much they despise “those” people.

Whoo Hoo. I’ll take it. I think it’s going to bump up later but a lot of us Christians are very cautious about telling pollsters what we think - we like the other side being overly assured.

“Heck, we had Hillary waving Bibles and offering to compromise of abortion after the 2004 election until Bush and the incumbent Republicsns started kicking it all away.”

What does this mean?

"...Obamessiah was giving finally giving up on ND."

There was no way in the world Obama was going to win North Dakota. He was delusional to think so.

The fact that he's spent so much time and money there is encouraging. I don't think McCain/Palin has spent any money there. Could some of the Peace Gardeners enlighten?

Putting Sarah Palin on the ticket hasn’t hurt matters, either.

we need Montana but Montana is Montana, 3 electoral votes which we had last prez election.......

we have to expect to have ALL the states we had last time including Montana....

we need the entire South, including Florida, and we need to hold the Nevadas and the New Mexico's as well....

we could afford to loose smaller states if we could pull in a Penn of a Minn.

Obama is right. Being a presidential contender is the type of experience that reflects on his ability to be president. Now we know exactly what kind of adminstration he’d have:

One that demands money from everyone, spends it like a drunken sailor with nothing to show for it, and falls into hysterical tantrums at the first sign of trouble.

I was incredulous that Obama thought he could actually carry Montana. Out in Big Sky Country, Men are men, and women are women. The addition of Sarah Palin to the McCain ticket was a genius decision!

Barry claimed that he had more experience than Palin because he was running his campaign.

Well, if Barry calls this experience then he should fire himself.

Yes, on the local level it is a strong two party state.

I think that there are two reasons for that.

One, I think the GOP has had some ethical problems.

Two, the Democrats are pretty conservative.

On the Presidential level, the State should remain Republican especially since the Democrats have two far left liberals running for President.
