Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., delivered these remarks on the House floor Tuesday:

Mr. Speaker: For the last two years I have struggled with the issue of whether the House should consider impeachment of a sitting President.

Next to declaring war, impeachment is the gravest matter the House of Representatives must consider. I fully understand the gut-wrenching consequences such a national debate could precipitate. Yet, there is one fact we cannot overlook or escape.

Once McCain/Palin is in the White House, Republicans really need to concentrate on going after this maggot’s seat. He’s been in Washington too long.

A democrat majority congress has one of the lowest approval ratings, if not The Lowest ever in the history of the U.S. and McDermott wants to go foward with impeachment hearings against the President?! No doubt the good people of the U.S. want to investigate the whole lot of shameless dems in congress before they would ever want to hold investigations against Bush.

We're now entering the Altra-Moronic realm!

“Once McCain/Palin is in the White House, Republicans really need to concentrate on going after this maggot’s seat.”

It s going to take him being taken away in handcuffs, because the voters won't do it. This traitor gets 79% of the vote in his extreme liberal area of Seattle.

That’s a damn shame. What are those people thinking? I’ll bet they are the ones who keep responding to those emails from that Nigerian prince with all that money he needs a bank account number for.

Baghdad Jim McDermott is a clown. Yet another leftwing poster boy for why we need term limits.

This is just a stupid political stunt meant to curry favor with the leftwing loons in his district, much as Dennis Kucinich's impeachment bill was a few months ago. These phony s know full well Nancy Pelosi won't allow an impeachment bill to go forward because there is no proof that President Bush or V.P. Cheney did anything unconstitutional or illegal. Pursuing impeachment would eventually expose the fraud that the leftwing loons live on (Bush is a war criminal) and show it for the nonsense it always was. That would be fatal to the DNC because the leftwing loons now control the party and the party needs this impeachment nonsense kept alive to (a) put it in the Congressional Record to make Bush look bad, decades from now and (b) to give do-nothing idiot leftwing, America-hating congressmen a way to kid themselves that they matter. This McDermott 'impeach the president' BS will get a blip in the MSM and die a quick death. Bush is 130 days from retirement and no one cares much. The leftwing's 'Hate-Bush' stuff is old and tired by now. Impeachment is a non-issue and always was.

Obama may want to raise the tired 'Bush's war crimes' theme to stir his acolytes and attempt, again, to tie McCain to Bush but the time for that game has long passed. Governor Sarah Palin changed the election in the Republican's favor and Obama can only flail around and use congressional dopes like Baghdad Jim McDermott to try and make some noise against Republicans but Bush is old news and no one cares much. Iraq is stabilizing, tropps are returning. Dragging out the 'Bush Lied' corpse one more time is a non-starter.

McCain-Palin are the new president and vice president. Barack who?

The allegations that would warrant impeachment keep growing. They have been illuminated in many recent books including The Way of the World by Ron Suskind, the book by Vincent Bugliosi, and the new book by Bob Woodward, The War Within.

McDermont, your assclown:

YOU even use the word "allegations" You can't impeach a sitting POTUS on allegations and what authors have claimed in their books

Being Badhdad Jim is a psychiatrist he should look up one of his old buddies in the profession for some free sessions, he’s probably beyond help but it’d be worth a try.
