From this one article...

“The Muslim workers refused ...

“The workers also insisted on translators for ......

If they didn’t do so much refusing, insisting, demanding, they might be more welcome. If you don’t like it go back to SOMALIA.

"OBTW-Not one of these peace-loving Muzzies ever looked me, a female, in the eye, when handed his check."

I'm a female and worked in uniform, only in all-male prisons in NY State. Prior to my retirement in 2003, we had a lot of Muslims in the system, but the majority of them were black, which to me doesn't make them a real Muslim. We had some middle-eastern Muzzies. They usually chose to keep amongst themselves, and didn't hang with any other ethnic groups. I'm sure if they had their choice, they wouldn't have attended Jumah services on Fridays with the rest of the wannabes. To me, they looked down on the black Muslims and didn't really recognize them because they were only converts, having not been born into the Muslim faith.

Besides working amongst Muslim convicts, I've had a Muslim (Pakistani) dentist for 25 years. He acts more American than some Americans I've known. The last time I had my teeth cleaned, he came looking for me, and greeted me very warmly, giving me a big hug. In the prison, the civilian prison Imam was black. He was a decent guy who was very good at keeping his flock in line. He didn't take any crap from any of them and tossed them out as members if they were behaving badly, not attending services regularly, and not following the required practices of Islam, ie., fasting during Ramadam, etc. He was well respected by the security staff, and helped make our job easier.

So why can't I demand to have Christian Holy Days off (such as March 25th, the date of Christ's conception?).

Do I get to riot now?

At issue is a contractual agreement. The workers had agreed to the terms of the contract. They changed their minds. Hatred has nothing to do with it.

I predict that they will be reinstated by court decree, and will go on to cause a recall of beef the size of which will dwarf anything we’ve seen so far.

The recall won’t be stated in the hundreds of thousands of pounds, but rather in the number of traincars full of beef.

Poor Swift, they were dead the moment the first muslim walked through the door and filled out an application. No way they could not eventually hire them, and no way can they stay in business after hiring them.

Swift is another AMerican institution that has come under deadly attack from the Left and I can’t see anyway out for them.

I don’t trust them around food processing plants anyway. Too risky.

Oops, I’d forgotten that I read about that right at FR. I still wouldn’t trust these companies to let a few sneak back in under the radar though. Did Swift get any meaningful fines for hiring all those illegals? I don’t know.

Religious freedom and all that other nonsense. /s,

Religious freedom, like freedom of speech, has to do with protection from the goobermint, not meatpackers. They might be able to twist loose some labor relations BS and beat it to fit, though.

No doubt. But someone started all this illegal hiring. Im pretty sure that a company which has a legal employees only policy, and advertises this, people wouldnt mind paying the extra cents per hamburger. I certainly wouldnt. You end up paying for those few cents off in a hundred different ways.

Sounds a bit farfetched that a terror cell would be so dumb...

Illegal aliens and many - not all - immigrants demand special perks not available to the rest of us. We already have two sets of laws, with McCain in favor of giving SS benefits to illegal aliens who commit identity theft.
