I’m sure they would love to hire only Americans...BUT since every other meat packer hires illegals they either do the same or go bankrupt.
To cure this problem ALL businesses must be forced to hire only legal workers...until that happens businesses have little choice but to hire illegals at lower wages in order to stay afloat.
No doubt. But someone started all this illegal hiring. Im pretty sure that a company which has a legal employees only policy, and advertises this, people wouldnt mind paying the extra cents per hamburger. I certainly wouldnt. You end up paying for those few cents off in a hundred different ways.
