It appears that the naturalistic evolutionists have not changed since 9/11. In most cases when they talk about morality, (1) every moral condition is to be explained by amoral natural processes, including terrorism; (2) they presuppose values that are difficult to account for in Darwinian terms, and (3) morality notwithstanding, they preach that creation and intelligent design are to be sternly opposed as if they are evil...

Two fleas were sitting on a dog. The one flea said to the other flea: “There is no dog.”
God started the whole thing, and it went according to His plan. Whether it took six thousand years or six billion years does not matter as much as accepting His role. He gave us the tools to learn about much of it but not to know it all.
A day with God is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day (or a million, or a billion, or 3 billion...)
It does matter. To deny the truth of his word is to deny him.
"A day with God is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day"
Those words were spoken by Peter to explain the "day of the Lord" as prophecied by John and Paul. They do not in any way relate to the definate facts given in Genesis. To deny the geneologies given in Genesis is to deny the Lord who gave them.
You have to admit, though, that the first chapter of Genesis seems to go out of its way to make clear what is meant by day, specifically, ONE cycle of darkness and light. And days are distinguished from seasons and years...
[verse 5] God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.
[8] And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
[13] And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.
[14] And God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years,
[16] And God made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also.
[18] to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
[19] And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
[23] And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
[31] And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.
