Being born in SoCal I have followed George’s career all along. In recent years on the radio. Yes he had a lot of stories to tell from the 30’s right on up to today. He had “One Reporters Opinion”. Hope I got that right. RIP George you will be missed.
One of his favorite expressions was “DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY!”
I can almost hear his voice now...
George Putnam was a true patriot and a great American. May he rest in peace.
