She must mean like these nice democrats from the recent RNC convention at St. Paul Minnesota.

Nice Democrats!

Rocks....yuk, yuk, yuk. :-) You know what I'm thinking. :-)

I knew 24 was jumping the shark at the end of last season. The previews of the new season looks aweful.

I heard the show is over run with liberalism now. Moonbat extreme Garafolo joining the show. A female heroic president who looks like Hillary. Powers Boothe playing the power hungry warmongering conservative.

The premise of this season is that Jack goes to Africa on some aid mission because he's having a "crisis of conscious" over his tactics of torturing terrorists to get information and executing them. Jack then winds up in the middle of a coup by a military general who recruits children to fight in his army. Jack spends the season trying to beat the generals army and save a group of children. And during the show, it comes out that this coup was backed by conservatives and arms dealers from the US.

Hope you all enjoyed the past seasons of 24, because the show has been hijacked by leftists, and I predict this will be the last season as ratings tank.

Since most of law enforcement and the military are staffed up by conservatives, I always wonder where the leftists think they’re going to get the troops to “arrest” and “frog-march” and “lock up” their political opponents as they’re always insisting they want to do. Will they have the Fruit of Islam disarm everybody else and do it? Just as a practical matter, how do these fools think they’ll pull it off?

Good luck getting half the electorate in jail.

Especially the half that has the guns.

Garofalo wants reproductive freedom. Why? It'd take a forest of paper sacks to make her acceptable to a meth freak that overdosed on Viagra. The last time someone hit something like that we were in the Ice Age.

This’ll be the last season - I bet even Rush, who is a huge fan, walks away from the show. Don’t these jackasses realize that mostly conservatives/moderates watch this show? I can’t stomache Grrawful-o on my screen - won’t be watching. I doubt others of my viewpoint will either. By Jack - it was great while it lasted!

At least I have Seasons 1 through 6 on DVD and will watch them and be reminded of how real men and women would deal with terrorists.

“I’ve been doing without 24 so long...”

Although I still watch 24, season four was the best and after that it is now sort of repetitive. The fall 2-hour movie seems OK (it won’t be an earth shaking event, just a local one in Africa).

Once ‘Prison Break’ appeared I was hooked. They know suspense unlike any other show. Yes, for something that should have been a limited mini-series to be in its 4th season is pushing it but they still know how to keep you interested.

(I do like Terminator: SC Chronicles too.)

Thanx for the tip about Prison Break — I’ve seen the ads but never watched it — maybe I’ll try watching it. They had a new show, Fringe — I tried watching it for about 3 minutes until I could see it was about monsters, vampires or some such crap, which I have no interest in.

Nope, won’t work. They expect the gubbmint to do the dirty work and the heavy lifting in rounding us up.

I watched about 10 minutes of Prison Break recently. The good guys were escaping the Banana Republic Army, heading to the beach. There, they dug up a box full of mini-aqualungs, AKA bailout bottles. All of them, 6 or so, then proceeded into the ocean, without masks, fins etc, and swam underwater in formation clean out of sight of the military who arrived at the beach soon after. There were not even enough bottles, so two men had to share one (buddy breathe) as they swam away underwater.

This was such a laughable joke that I switched it off. It was as realistic as using a jetliner’s seat covers as parachutes, and landing on hay bails and then running away.

IF you haven’t seen Prison Break, borrow (or buy at a discount, I seen them used for ten dollars) seasons 1 thru 3 and watch them in order.

Remember when you had a season of 24 on DVD and stayed up all might (or weekend) because you couldn’t stop? Get ready for deja vu.

Hope you all enjoy it.

The problem is that the catalyst in this social process will be a total economic meltdown. Most folks will BEG for martial law, “anti gauging” price controls, etc. etc.

Here in FL, we have “anti-gauging” laws. The price went up about .25 cents at some stations after Ike, and folks are ready to hang the gas station operators for “gauging.”

Wait until there is REAL hardship and hunger: the masses will inform on their neighbors in a heartbeat for violating a thousand draconian new laws. The govt. will run sting operations to find “hoarders” and “black marketers.” Mainly, it will be the libs cheering as well-prepared conservatives are hauled off to the gulags.

But so too will many “moderates” who will go over to the Garafalo side during hard times.
