"Written for and inspired by President
Barack Obama, and now in support of
Vice President, running mate, Joe Biden."
CHANGE IS ON THE WAY
(A tribute to Barack Obama)
Change -- Change -- Change
Change is on the way.
Change -- Change -- Change
Change is on the way.
But, hey -- but, hey -- hey!
Listen to me, when I say...
That I feel...
-- Change!
It's in the air!
-- Change!
It's everywhere!
-- Change!
... and we aint gonna pass this way again.
-- Change!
So, take my hand,
-- Change!
and take a stand.
-- Change!
I know together, baby, we can win! Yes!
With a little faith.
-- Faith!
With a little hope.
-- With a little hope!
With a little joy.
Change is on the way!
With a little trust.
-- Trust!
With a little courage.
-- Courage!
In a little while...
Change is on the way!
CHange -- Change -- Change
Change is on the way.
CHange -- Change -- Change
Change is on the way.
Baby, it's a strange time.
We're on a rocky road, overload,
feeling confused.
I look around, and it blows my mind.
It's been so wrong, for so long.
I'm feeling abused.
But, hey -- but, hey -- hey!
Listen to me, when I say...
That I feel...
-- Change!
It's in the air!
-- Change!
It's everywhere!
-- Change!
... and we all have the freedom
to make the choice.
-- Change!
Change -- Change -- Change
Change is on the way.
Change -- Change -- Change
Change is on the way.
It’s now “IN-YOUR-FACE” CHANGE,,,,not just ‘change’.
Election day can’t come soon enough!
I think an appropriate theme song for the Obama campaign would be “Chain of Fools” by Aretha Franklin.
ROTFLOL
I am hoping his kind of change we can get rid of. It’s destroying our country.
What a moron!
BWAAAAAAHHHH So stupid
song is Chain of Fools!!
Ya that about right and Obami....
KEEP THE CHANGE POSER!

Obama is on a plane ride to Dallas, and is sitting beside an old "cow poke", cowboy boots, ragid jeans, a shirt with snaps versus buttons and a wrinkled face from years on the range.
Obama says: "I understand plane flights go faster is you chat with your seat mate. Intersted?
Before we start that conversation, I have a question for you: horses poop road apples, cows poop big sloppy pies and deer do little bunny marbles and they all eat grass. Can you tell me why it is all different?
Barry thinks for a moment and replies: "I have no earthly idea."
The old timer responds: "Then why bother talking, if your don't know $hit?"
From SF Gate.com, September 17, 2008:
"In Elko, Obama tried to anticipate his critics and called on the crowd of about 1,500 to sharpen their elbows, too.
'I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,' he [Obama] said."

1. "OK, enough Republican presidents! We Democrats are the rightful leaders of this country so, its our turn now!!!"
and
2. "Its time this country voted for a black guy regardless of his qualifications! America owes this to African Americans!"
Merit simply does not enter into their considerations. Group identity and party identity are all that matter.
THIS...
From Rules for Radicals, Alinsky outlines his strategy in organizing, writing:
"There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevsky said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution."[2]

Bear patiently the cross of grief and pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change, He faithful will remain....Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past,
All safe and blessed, we shall meet at lastFrom "Stille, Meine Wille" {Be Still, My Soul], Katharina von Schlegel, 1752
Rotten song, rotten composer, rotten dedicatee, rotten hat!
I dare not listen or watch lest I have a rotten day.
This “Changes” was written by one of the most strident of 60’s radicals; but this time he was writing to, for and about a girl — not as a vehicle to change our way of life forever, a la Obama and this so-called composer. Funny, about Phil and this song — I didn’t think he had it in him.
Most far left males I’ve known only looked upon women as a way to massage their egos and feed their narcissism. He later killed himself, much like Van Gogh, when he finally realized that the world he envisioned would never, ever come to pass. (Beautiful tune, too.)
CHANGES
(Phil Ochs, popularized by Gordon Lightfoot)
“Sit by my side, come as close as the air.
Share in a memory of grace.
And wander in my words.
And dream about the pictures that I play
Of Changes.
Green leaves of summer turn red in the fall,
To brown and to yellow they fade.
But then they have to die,
Trapped within the circle time parade
Of Changes.
Moments of magic will glow in the night.
All fears of the forest are gone.
But when the morning breaks,
They’re swept away by golden drops of dawn
And Changes.
Scenes of my young years were warm in my mind,
Visions of shadows that shine.
‘Til one day I returned
And found they were the victims of the vines
Of Changes,
The world’s spinning madly, it drifts in the dark.
Swings through a hollow of haze.
A race around the stars,
A journey through the universe ablaze
With Changes.
Passions will part to a warm melody,
As fires will sometime turn cold.
Like petals in the wind,
We’re puppets to the silver strings of souls,
Of Changes.
Your tears will be trembling, now we’re somewhere else
One last cup of wine we will pour.
I’ll kiss you one more time
And leave you on the rolling river shore
Of Changes.”
