Once you sign up for a HOA it’s not. HOA’s are evil, have been for a long time, good that you’re finally learning this.
So why don't you dump that tarpaper Souvrn shack and come on up here and buy one of our community's 8 (count'em, eight) homes and put up your signs 'till the cows come home!

Oh, man... you SAID IT. I live in a gated community, and I didn’t realize until after I moved in that these people make fascists look warm and cuddly - and then charge you for the privilege of living under their “rules”.
HOA’s are filth, anyone defends them by saying you agreed can go to the same potty as those who enforce the garbage!
Heres an odd question I asked a few years ago but never got a solid answer. A buddy of mine and his friends rent a big house along a central road in a mid sized town here in Massachusetts. The house is located just at the foot of where people in the town vote. The owner of the house pounds quite a few political yard signs on front yard every election. If my friends are renting the house and land wouldn’t they have to approve any signs put on the land?
