I'm the President of our HOA. You can put up any damned kind of sign you want here ~ as far as we care ~ but Fairfax county has some limits ~ (quite large ones as it turns out).

So why don't you dump that tarpaper Souvrn shack and come on up here and buy one of our community's 8 (count'em, eight) homes and put up your signs 'till the cows come home!

Heres an odd question I asked a few years ago but never got a solid answer. A buddy of mine and his friends rent a big house along a central road in a mid sized town here in Massachusetts. The house is located just at the foot of where people in the town vote. The owner of the house pounds quite a few political yard signs on front yard every election. If my friends are renting the house and land wouldn’t they have to approve any signs put on the land?
