Most of Alcee's supporters are racists, by definition. They vote for him (and therefore against his opponents) purely on racial lines.
Here in south Florida we have by far some of the scurviest RATs in the House...Debbie Wassermann Schultz, Alcee "Buckwheat" Hatings and Li'l Bobby Wexluh.

Wasn’t Alcee Hastings thrown off the bench by the judicial qualifications commission?No, he was impeached by the US House of Representatives and convicted and removed from office by the US Senate, who unfortunately did not ban him from holding federal office, as they could have.
