With Dems Like These, Obama Doesn’t Need Enemies
Pajamas Media ^ | October 1, 2008 | Mike Shelton

The more Obama's pals open their mouths, the less reason people have to vote for him.

Democrats keep forming their firing squads in a circle. Such humor proves true as supporters of Democratic nominee Barack Obama provide help that does more harm than good.

Democrats are in a state of high anxiety ...

How does South Carolina Democratic chair Carol Fowler lend a hand? By saying Sarah Palin’s only qualification for vice president was not having an abortion. Thanks Carol. That was a big help. Then again, maybe she was trying to outdo her husband, former Democratic National Committee chair Don Fowler, who joked Hurricane Gustav’s timing hurting the Republican convention was proof God is a Democrat. Thanks Don. That won a ton of New Orleans votes and wooed Evangelicals. Maybe some Catholics.

New York Congressman Charles Rangel was given an opportunity to correct his statement saying of Sarah Palin “you’ve got to be kind to the disabled.” He didn’t take it.

These attacks remind me of the earnest, but clumsy, neighbor begging to help you paint your house, while tripping over buckets, smashing lamps, breaking windows, knocking down grandma’s portrait, and generally creating havoc. Would have been better if the neighbor had just stayed home.

Then, there’s Sandra Bernhard, an actress whose rantings are so racist and vile they won’t be printed without censorship.

For the two Fowler Democrats, it's just what floats to the surface.
Amongst themselves and their friends things have a more raw and realistic twist.
Lucky are those that are protected and keep flourishing under a media umbrella.

Writes Mike Shelton...The would-be friends of the campaign don’t seem to understand their words blend with the real campaign, giving the public the impression all are one. They don’t help themselves one bit with rhetorical whipsaws from the hateful to the nutty.

The the torchlight and pitchfork hysteria and pure spite directed toward Sara Palin are palpable.

And, there is a good reason.

Fear.

You see, my dear FRiends, Sarah Palin is the flaming arrow that threatens the entire fiction-based castle of cards of the Marxist Obama left.

If a woman can accomplish what she has done, without the help of the radical left, it punctures the tall tales of the misery mongering leftists that they peddle in order to create an artificial need for their "help" (in exchange for control over the "helped".)

They will do whatever they can to demonize and destroy her.

Luckily, she (and McCain) are both stronger than all of the leftists combined (or should I say, collectively?).

With true role models like Sara showing the world that America works, who needs the radical left?

.

The problem with the Republican party is, every time John McCain opened his mouth, he turned Republicans away.

I have made my opinion made to Ms. Brown asking her to find a substitute or make Ifil come clean about her vested interest prior to the start of questioning.

I also emailed the McCain people with the following message:

“As a contributor to your campaign I want to express my concern about the how poorly your campaign is being run. Enough already with earmarks. The average American doesn’t understand cloakroom speak and cares less. You need to start talking about smaller government, lower taxes, a strong national defense, USSC appointees, true systemic government reform and documenting your opponents far left liberalism. If you are uncomfortable about attacking a Democrat, which seems to be the case throughout your career, then let Sarah do the dirty work. Just do it or you are toast.

As for reform the only way DC is every going to be reformed is if the following changes are made: line item veto, term limits, and two changes that will cut lobbying severely, i.e., less onerous regulation and a change in the tax code. Until you get government out of the daily lives of industry and people you will never stop lobbying.

And finally you like to say that you will name names when you are president. Well there are plenty of names to be named on the mortgage crisis. You know who they are, they are mostly Democrats start naming and quit talking about bipartisanship, the Democrats sure aren’t. Give Newt or Mike Pence a call and find out how to clean up this mess without $700B in taxpayers money.

You were not my first choice and I am only supporting you because of the alternative, but at this point you are proving me right in my original assumptions and making it very hard for me to continue that support.”

I am not expecting it cause much concern within the campaign, but at least I got to vent.

From an email I got today.

I urgently need you to redouble your commitment to our cause by making a secure online contribution of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50 or $25 to provide RNC Victory 2008 the backing it needs as we begin the General Election campaign in earnest.

We need to raise $50 million for Victory 2008 in September alone to keep pace with the Obama-Biden Democrats.  These funds are critically important for voter identification, organization and get-out-the-vote efforts that will make all the difference between winning and losing on Election Day.

Remember, in 2000 and 2004, the difference in the election was just a handful of votes in a few precincts in key states.  When you consider that $50 is about what it costs to turn-out 150 voters, you can see how every contribution matters.

So please make a secure online contribution of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50 or $25 to RNC Victory 2008 to help our Party kick-off the General Election phase of the campaign with the greatest strength possible.
