Not really. Stevens is a corrupt pol but it seems the JD’s incompetence might let him off the hook.
In the instances here, at first glance it seems more like incompetence than criminality.
But time will tell.
That this should come out at trial is inexcusable.
The case should be dismissed, and the prosecutor needs to be investigated.
Looks like ATF has been teaching court-room tactics to DoJ.
I am not sure- Nifong sure didnt’t
Ditto to you Ditto
What is your problem? I was asking for you to explain the Steven’s case to me. I was under the impression that Stevens was a corrupt politician from Alaska who received tons of gifts that he didn’t report.
Thanks for your compassion and willingness to help a fellow citizen. I appreciate the time and effort you took out of your busy day to dismiss and insult me.
Nifong didn't have civil immunity because he personally participated in the investigation and attempts frame the defendants. Prosecutors have immunity while performing prosecutorial duties. Investigating crimes is not a prosecutorial duty.
