HeadsUp Dallas, TX McCain-Palin Fans: Obama Campaign Organizing Protests of Fundraiser 10/03/08
Obama Campaign Website ^ | October 3, 2008

Posted on 10/02/2008 10:38:30 PM PDT by onemiddleamerican

On September 22nd, while doing a Google search for photos of the McCain-Palin rally in Media, PA that day, I discovered that the Obama Campaign website had announced a protest of that rally. I posted what I had found on this thread.

Tonight, while reading and commenting on the FR Live Debate thread, I came across a comment by FReeper 1066AD:

Sarah Palin is in Dallas, TX tomorrow (Friday) for a fundraiser at the Fairmont.

The unwashed are promising a demo.....

Well, remembering what I had found a couple of weeks earlier on the Obama Website, I went back to see if they had done it again. And they did!

Yet again, the Obama Campaign website is acting as an organizer for protests of their Republican presidential opponents! I have been voting for more years than I care to admit, and I can honestly say that I do not recall any previous campaign openly organizing protests of their opponents.

Obama preaches to his faithful to "Get in their faces," so it stand to reason that their campaign money would go to organizing "in their face" protests as well.

Once again, the Barack Obama Official Campaign Website is involved in organizing protests of their opponents.

Chicago style chicanery heads to Dallas, Texas on October 3rd.

The Obama campaign wants the MSM to report that these protests are spontaneous grassroots responses to the Republican candidates; all the while it's the Obama campaign that is organizing them.

Imagine that!

This is easy to solve. Just tell these ‘ladies’ that k.d. lang is playing a concert in the West End and there won’t be a protester near the Fairmont.

I only found out that Sarah was going to be here in Dallas yesterday. Doggone it, I can’t be there to counter the Obamabots, but I’m going to shoot this intel over the the local RNC office.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thank you for passing the info along to your local RNC office. I guess we all should be checking back on the Obama website (link at top of article goes right to the "events" map, click on your state for currently planned Obama events) when McCain and/or Palin come to our neck of the woods.

As long as they can get away with it, I expect they will continue to organize "spontaneous protests" from their campaign website.

You bet. I'm just glad that I happened to be burning the midnight oil, and caught this before morning.

Hopefully, the folks down there will spread the word throughout the network, fast.

I e-mailed your heads up along with a link to this FR thread to the RPT leadership and a Republican friend up in the Metroplex to pass on to folks up there. Also posted this link to the Texas FR forum so hopefully some Dallas FReepers will be able to FReep the liberal brownshirts and cheer on Sarah tomorrow.

This is part of their “drive for change”. Encouraging supporters to go to battleground states to support the campaign.

They had links on their site (blogs) to the palin rumors, before and AFTER barack issued his edict that family was off limits. (only his family)

Thanks for doing that. We all need to pay close attention to the tactics that the Obama Campaign is using. We need to be prepared for more of their brownshirt tactics in our areas, especially now that they know what a spitfire (and more than qualified candidate) Sarah Palin is.

:-)

The Obamabots are claiming this is not an official Obama site. How convenient. Have your minions pose as your official site and promote disruption at a Palin rally, then claim, “It’s not our official site...snicker!”
