BRUSSELS, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- A top U.S. official said Friday in Brussels that the United States expects to admit 17,000 Iraqi refugees for resettlement in 2009.

We already have a few north of our conservative area. They are being used by the multiculturalist teachers and media.
That’s a lot. Why can’t those “tolerant, compassionate, elitist” Euroweenies open their doors to some of them...to teach us boorish Americans a lesson?
We fought for them to run their own nation, not to come here for subsidized safety and comfort. We "export Democracy" and then let it evaporate.....damn foolish waste of money.
Maybe we need to give them a stark choice; "we'll help you fight for a Democracy you stay to support...or we'll bomb you to an oblivion where you don't bother us anymore."
You say 17,000 is a lot?
....yet the ILLEGAL immigrant population of the United States is estimated to be about 12 million people...57% from Mexico, 24% from the rest of Latin America, and 19% from elsewhere.
