Photo exhibit at church honors same-sex relationships

A photo exhibit featuring partners in same-sex relationships will be on display beginning Sunday at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1609 University Ave. An open house will be held Sunday from 1-3 p.m., and the exhibit will be on display at the church for one week.

The exhibit, titled "Shall Not Be Recognized," was created by Jeff Pearcy and Will Fellows in response to the passage of the 2006 marriage amendment in Wisconsin that does not legally recognize same-sex relationships. The display includes 30 photographs of couples who have been together for seven to 50 years.

"In recent years, the battle surrounding legal recognition of same-sex marriages and civil unions have grabbed headlines," Fellows said in a statement. "Voices from the political and religious arenas have had their say. Often lost in the debate have been the voices of same-sex couples themselves."

"Churches" that promote homosexuality are not churches, they are not houses of worship. They are cabals of darkness of the worst kind because they masquerade as Godly, but they are hellish. They can have hymnals and prayers trotted out, "pastors" and "reverends",rituals and formalities practiced, but it is all show, sham and even worse. It is like poisoned food. Better they give up pretense of being "religious" and having this be a house of God. Just turn it into a bath house and be real. Hypocrisy is worse than open sin.

Of course, better to give up the sin, but we know how likely that is to happen. There has to be a revolution in peoples' hearts.

I lived in a place called Quincy in MA.

I’m sure most of you know that two of our presidents came form this city and are buried there.

Well the church in the center of town is very old and historic, so imagine my disgust driving through the center of Quincy when I see a homo rainbow flag flying form this beautiful church

the homo’s had took the church over and have a big massive sign on it saying something like marriage doesn’t discriminate or some nonsense like that.

Now imagine the outcry from homos and liberal if a normal proper church had a big political sign on it.

I bet not once do they ever talk about God or Jesus but talk about spreading their filthy sexual views onto the people.

What was sad that I talked to a couple of elderly folk and told them all of this.
They said are you sure those rainbow flags are for homosexuals and was convinced that homo’s were not taking over the Church’s for their agenda.
They were convinced that no one would let homo’s take over this old historical church either

I feel for Quincy, I really do. It grows increasing more difficult by the day in MA, to find a Church that does not condone this sort of thing. As we all know, those that lead His flock to sin, are worse than the sinners.
