CBNNews.com - A group of first graders in San Francisco took a school-sponsored field trip to a homosexual wedding.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports the five-and six-year-olds were pulled out of school to "toss rose petals" on their newly married teacher.
The school's interim director called it "a teachable moment." But one pro-family group called it "overt indoctrination."
"This is overt indoctrination of children who are too young to understand it," said Chip White, Press Secretary for Yes on Proposition 8.
The parents of two students opted out of letting them go to the gay wedding.
School administrators admit the trip was controversial, but say same sex marriage is legal in their state.
Californians vote next month on whether to overturn the state supreme court's ruling allowing same-sex marriage.
I bet if one of those kids took a day off to attend a real wedding, they’d get an “Inexcused Absence” mark for the day.
Were any of the kids forced to go to the wedding against their will or without the permission of their parents?
Godless, heathen perverts.
And they’re “educating” our children?
So is traditional heterosexual marriage,
So the money question, apparently not discussed, is: have the same chldren had the opportunity to go on a "field trip" to view a normal wedding?
If not, the teacher, the principal, the school, the school district and the school board are in for some well-deserved grief.
San Francisco is becoming the city of demons
Nothing shocks me about California, and in particular San Fran.
Unfortunately most of the kids in that class probably have gay parents.
Two words: Private School
This is sick. You are right. Teaching children perversion is government approved. Gross. Extremely gross and sickening.
They will soon be outlawed.
Two words: Flee California.
Especially before they pass their ‘exit tax’.
Against their will or without permission? Good question.
My son sang with an internationally renowned chorus a few years back.
One day we heard that the boys were scheduled to sing with the Gay Opera at a Benefit Gala.
We told them we weren’t participating.
Well, we got the pressure. I even got called by the President of the Board of Directors. Other boys put my son down as a hater. It was not pleasant, but we stood our ground.
A couple of other boys out of about 100 would not attend, either.
After the concert, in two separate instances, single moms approached me and admitted to me they wished they had pulled out their boys. There was porn in the programs, sick jokes by the MC as the boys stood on stage, and public displays of “affection.” One mom told us her son was crying the first night after he got home. (It was a two night affair).
There is such a thing as peer pressure. We are being subject to it in California and parents are doing things AGAINST THEIR BETTER JUDGMENT because of the politically correct squads.
Mayor Gavin Newsom officiated!!
Watch this two minute news report. It explains the breakdown of the state in its support or opposition to Proposition 8 (the proposed constitutional amendment to support traditional marriage):

Fresno is in the middle of that big green area, which also grows the vast majority of the produce on the west coast. It’s as conservative a place as you can imagine. A big, gorgeous, flat valley where you can grow anything (and we do).
Check out the footer on every FR page. Yup, Fresno, California.
We’re not giving up our state yet.
How long until some PC type decides to make Heaven, well, PC? I can see it now...The After-Life Anti-Discrimination Act of 2015: “No one shall be able to claim that Heaven is not a place which will welcome all” or some such.
*We’re not giving up our state yet*
Amen! That’s the spirit.
Anybody who deliberately takes children into a place like San Fransicko should be charged with child abuse.
The parents of two students opted out of letting them go to the gay wedding.
The only two smart parents in the group. Although, I am glad that the school allowed for volunteering to go only and did not force the children to go, I am surprised that only two parents said no and everyone else said basically, no problem, go.
