Note we all have been duped into believing only the economy matters now. Won’t it be grand when our national security is trashed.
Face it we can thank George Bush for discovering an economic crisis less than two months before the election. Can you imagine an act of greater stupidity and political self destruction?
The constant attacks on GWB (a very good man) over domestic issues (while fine at times) over the last 2 years have become silly beyond reason...... And the GOP base by and large has gone right along with such attacks on GWB.
What this does for "middle-America of undecideds" is paint the GOP as the party that has caused any and all problems.
Our base has been looking at issues and elections through a straw-size hole.....Not seeing the bigger picture. Hell, look, even in our primary we elected the least-conservative member of all running...in McCain...The exact opposite of what the "base" wanted and were demanding of POTUS GWB.
