I think McCain found a goldmine in Joe. If things keep going the way they have today, it will be a turning point in the campaign.
These elitist “journalists” are complete idiots.
And it turns out that Wurzelbacher makes less than $250,000 a year, which means he would receive a tax cut if Obama were elected president.
Joe said he wanted to work to buy the business....and was referring to the taxes with his acquired business.
He doesn't need to be licensed in the work he is doing for someone else.
He owes $1,200 in taxes, that's really is nothing.
Remember that guy who beat up the terrorists in Scotland? Well, Joe is like that guy, the MSM can't touch him. If they try, they will only soil themselves.
These two girls (carrie and amie) are deliberately missing the whole point.
I'm more pessimistic about this election than most here, but man, is this a stretch.
He owes back taxes? Oh, wow, string him up!
The depth of the media's fear about this guy's MESSAGE is revealed in their desire to crush HIM.
Another “gotcha!” moment from the tabloid press. I guess “rhetorical” has too many syllables for these spoon-clanging jerks who continue to MISS THE POINT.
I think McCain has stumbled on gold again. This is another Sarah moment in the campaign.
Sarah and Joe need to combine forces on the trail. They'd be bigger than the Beatles.
Omygawd!
The media is carrying water for Obama by LYING!
Who would have ever thought!
McCain “screwed up,” by throwing his spear right through the MSM Obama defense.
What bothers me is the man never said he made 250,000. He presented Obama with a hypothetical question and Obama answered it. The MSM needs to get bent. Barrack Hussein (Steve) Obama is a socialist. Period.
Joe was an answer to prayer. How else can you explain the odds of Obama just happening to walk down Joe’s street while he was out in the front yard, an intelligent, articulate and photogenic all-American guy who’s not afraid to confront the Democratic front-runner? The day before the final debate and the conversation, in which Obama reveals to the world his true nature, on film? He manages to crystallize Obama’s socialism and calls it for what it is. Then he goes on to do the same on national TV over and over again. I will always believe this was a God thing, and Satan’s minions recognize it as such, thus their fury.
>>>>>He owes back taxes. He is not a licensed plumber. And it turns out that Wurzelbacher makes less than $250,000 a year, which means he would receive a tax cut if Obama were elected president.
Owing back taxes isn't a crime and Joe doesn't need a license to be a residential plumber in Ohio.
And Bob Williams, a senior research associate at the independent, nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, said that Joe's tax cut would probaly be greater under McCains tax plan than Obamas.
First a reporter makes up a story about the rabid Republicans at the Palin rallies that takes on a life of its own, and now we have a Private Citizen publicly eviscerated by the trusted Mainstream Media and the Democrat Presidential Candidate Barack Obama.
My God, have the people in this country lost all common sense and decency? Spoiled children running the household.
Uhm...Earth to liberals...The man said right up front that he was looking to buy a buisness that would make more than 250K, not that he already was...
Get your facts straight before getting snarky...
Joe the Plumber did not say to Obama that he made $250,000.
Joe the Plumber said that he HOPED , some day, to own a plumbing business that made him $250,000.
Obama's reply was that such a business owner's earnings would be taken to "spread the wealth".
It does not matter what Joe the Plumber's "personal story" is. He could be a hypothetical person and his hypothetical question would still be valid.
It speaks volumes that the liberal media desperately attacks Joe the Plumber in order to divert attention from Obama's answer to Joe the Plumber's question.
Did you see the guy to the camera mans left he had his arms folded and he mouthed some words but I think he called Obama an A Hole.
Something tells me Brown and Parnes don’t quite get it, Joe is a stand-in for millions of people like him. Trying to fling mud at someone who’s not running for anything only makes you look desperate and petty - although seeing Obamanites in that frame of mind is refreshing.
Purely Politico pablum.
